I know this one girl who I feel attracted to and she has a boyfriend already. He's a pretty cool guy though so that's good.
I told this girl that I feel attracted to her tonight because she's pretty and we share the same hobbies. She said thank you but I have a boyfriend.
I just told her I was attracted to her because as her and I were talking, we seemed to have things in common and I find her really pretty.

Boys are always attracted by pretty grils and you says that you share the same hobbies with the girl,so I don't know if you do love her.Moreover,she has a pretty cool boyfriend already.In this case,she would always refuse your love.If you really love her,you can compete with her current boyfriend,maybe you will succeed.

Regrets. You did not handle this girl right. In fact, you have given her a wrong impression on you. The mere fact that you know that this girl is already taken, what is your purpose on telling her then that you are attracted to her? what for?

Dude this is what's called from the frying pan and into the fire. You have complimented the girl that's OK and she seems nice else she would have already whined away to her bf that you were doing something more and if he comes after you it might be so good. You have got guts. You should know when and where to use them. BEWARE!

Max is right. Put yourself in the girl's boyfriend's shoes. You wouldn't anyone flirting with her, would you? It's ok to compliment her and tell her that she looks pretty or that she smells good or that you like her company or that you'e glad you have the same interests because you're friends. But don't tell her you're attracted to her. Some things are best unsaid. What do you want to gain by telling her that? Just so that she know? And then what? She might start avoiding you now because you said you were attracted to her.
