Some Chinese people hated the Filipinos for the hostage fiasco last month., right?
Then.,Should Filipinos hate the Chinese people for the lead poisoning and the melamine
contamination wherein not 8, but hundreds, maybe even thousands have suffered. Is it right
to blame a whole nation for a mistake of one man? If you do, then you are most certainly
dense..No arguments. Just an opinion.

No, I don't believe that would be the case. Is just that the Fillipino police department should re - train their policemen for better rescue procedure instead of letting people die at the hand of maniac. Think about how serious it will hurt fillipino's tourist industry. The whole event publishing out, no one would dare to come to this country again.

yeah right.. it did seriously hurt the Filipino tourism.., and the tourist establishments have dramatically dropped their revenues.., a lot of tourists who have made reservations prior to that hostage drama already canceled their reservations..=(

This is not to blame anybody or the whole nation. This is the responsibility of the country either they have put in effort to save the hostages. No one can be blame but the person in charge that arrange the poorly trained police to save the hostages. The blame should be put on the person in charge. No exception for any country...

There is only one common denominator between the us and the Chinese people and that is we are both in disbelief as to the incompetence of the people who handled the hostage situation.

Erm, we should look at these cases separately. You are right that both Chinese and Philippine governments should take responsible on the matter. However, for the recent Philippine hostage case, the police should be well trained on how to rescue the hostage. However, for the Chinese melamine case, it should be setting more stringent rules to govern the manufacturers.
