Good day to all,
During dinner time, is there any ideal time for you?
In our home, there is no specific time for dinner time. As long as my brother, sisters and parents are already home, we will take our dinner. We normally take our dinner altogether no matter how late.
And now, I am living separately with my family, still, here in the place where I lived, we dont observed specific time.
How about you, do you observe an specific time for dinner? What time you eat your dinner?

I always have my dinner around 7:00-8:00. I don't want to have my dinner late. I usually have it because for me this is the comfortable time to eat. Having my supper very late, I hate it and it also spoil my appetite. If I know that I would it very late, I have to eat something that I could have energy while I don't have it.

usually to my family, there is no specific time to have dinner, as soon as we all are free from our works, and are all together at home then we have our dinner, but yes some times we individually have our dinners, as per the requirement, in the sense, if you have individually personal works.

It really depends on a day to day case because most of the time, I am out of the house. Usually, I come home late and usually, I come home early. So it really depends. but whenever family gatherings are happening, I try to go to before 7 because 7pm usually is the standard dinner time here in the Philippines. And we do wait for someone to arrive so that we could all eat together after saying a prayer to our food. :D

My normal dinner time is 8 o'clock. But, I rarely get to have dinner at that time. I go to restaurants after I get back from my work, and most of the weekdays, I get back very late, after 9 o'clock. So, by the time I get to a restaurant, it is around 9:30. On the weekends, of course, I can be more timely having my lunch and dinner.
Good night !

For me is flexible.. i have no principle of time in having my meal. i will having my meal once i feel hungry. However, i try to stop it right now because having meal without principle of time is no good for health due to we failed to give our stomach an exactly time for rest.

My wife and I run our own business, so we are usually home by 8pm at the earliest. We usually eat dinner as a family around 8:30 to 9:00pm.
On our days off, we usually eat around 6-8pm.
A busy schedule can make it hard to eat as a family, but we always do our best to spend what little free time we have together :O)

hello airasheila,
Since my children are now at college I eat around 4:00pm between two jobs on Tuesday and Wednsday and the other days can vary fom 6:00pm to 8:00pm. It depends what my boyfriend want to eat and if he wants to cook or I cook etc... and how elaberate we want our dinner. He eats slowly and me I am usually so hungry I eat way to fast. I am trying to go slowe for him and that I do not like pig etc... (lol) no that he thinks I am pig. I also try to talk more to him so eat I eat slower. Growing with nine brothers and sisters you ate fast to either do chores quicker to get outside an play or to get a second helping if there is any left over.
Thanks and have a great day
