My friend who is staying in the US was face booking as early as 5am in the morning. I was shocked to see that.I feel that he is getting more committed to Face Book. I just want to know whether people will become addicted to social networking site like face book at the cost of their sleep.

Hi. divinchris. I believe that he is addicted! Being on there at 5 am is a bit too early. If he is there to send someone a message or just to check his messages then that is okay. I would never be on facebook this early. That is just too much for me. I would never lose sleep just to keep up with what is going on at facebook.

addicted? yes i may say it can make someone be addicted, since most of my friends are all in with face book. but it really depends on how that person will take face book personally. some do it just for communicating, playing and enjoying games, meeting old friends.

The first few months of becoming a Facebook member really cost me lots of sleeping hours. I got hooked up so bad that I had to skip classes just so that I can rest my tired body down after face booking from night until early morning. If you feel like your friend is getting addicted and that it causes him to miss his responsibilities or what not, then I guess its best to advice him to control his sleep patterns so that he won't be excessively using Facebook . But if it won't cause any harm, then just leave him as he is. Facebook can really take your hours on the internet because of not only how we can communicate with our friends but as well as its games and applications that some are hooked up into.
Best of luck

Wow that is seriously insane and i thought the worst was my mom splashing water at me at the same time in the morning!
I think your friend wants to be 24/7 connected. I am also like that except that i stay up late nights and do facebook hoping to meet someone who is jobless like me!
Cheers!
