Good day to all,
There are times, we want to cook a different food. Food that are not usually serve in a restaurant. For this reason, we try to consult a cook book or a recipe book. However, due to high technology now a days, there are some people who does not depend on recipe book anymore, hence, they just prefer to do a research over the google.

Nowadays I tend to get most of my recipeis from the internet. It is unusual for me to get a recipe from a cookbook, although I do have several. I love th look at the pictures in cookbooks, and the receipes sometimes look tempting as well.

I do both. While most of my recipes are online and I save them in my computer so I don't have to me online to see them. I still have quite a few cook books which i like to reference. Online you can find a variety of different recipes for the same thing so it's good to look. I think people should utilize both things because although there may be some things you can find online, there are some things you can only find in a cook book. Like a have a family recipe cook book my aunt put together to raise money for a family reunion. there i have my grandmothers recipes for things she makes and we like. Same with some of my aunts too, they have their recipes and everything. I also have cook books for my kids with meal ideas they can make and cook on their own. they like the pictures and step by step instructions with pictures. i have a similar book like that with stop by step picture instructions on how to do something. it kind of makes it more convenient at that point because you can just grab the book instead of looking online or at a cooking video which you have to play and pause.
So both sides have their advantages and drawbacks like anything else out there. people should always try to combine the old with the new to make their lives easier.

I enjoy looking at cookbooks and I have several favorites that I use. I will occasionally look online for a recipe, but most of the time I use a cookbook. I believe that there is a lot of history in many cookbooks and if it is a tried and true recipe, then it must be good.

I only own a couple of cookbooks and more often than not when I'm looking for a recipe or for something different to cook for dinner I go to the Food network website. I find most of my recipes on the internet. I think that there is only one recipe that I use a cookbook for and I just found that one on the internet as well. Using the internet allows access to hundreds of recipes rather than the few that you are limited to in a cookbook.
