I would drive an electric car if I had one. It's not any worse than a gas powered car and we can get energy, whereas our fuel will someday run out. I think that the future of cars are going to go beyond fuel and electricity one day.

I think there will come that time we all have to go to them. But have you seen the pries on just say a battery? My Lord! Some of them I have seen where close or even over $2,000! And batteries do not last but what? 3 to 5 years and they start getting weak or die. To me its not the best incentive yet to change over to them. Not unless you are just doing it for the planet?

Well as with goes with Supply and Demand, as Electric Cars become more popular, the prices of the things like the Battery will drop. I'm a girl on a budget and I like to drive my cars until they will not run anymore so you won't see me in line for an electric car anytime soon. I'm just saying if I had the option, why not?

I should myself go test drive one just to see what they are like? I haven't yet. But maybe i could see more of what they can do and the differences in them to know fully. I am sure they have some cool features to them and benefits as well.

I would not have when they first came out but now there are some decent ones which give great fuel economy and are actually still normal speed. A lot of the earlier ones were really, really slow.

I would also but I feel the same as ou do they are much too expensive. Not only that the upkeep I hear is expensive and there really is not much difference from them to gas with the upkeep prices.
