New or preowned?

What kind of things do you absolutely have to buy new, and what are some things that you will always try to get used or preowned before paying full retail? (any good websites to get the products you buy would help too) Thanks!

you should never buy shoes that have been preowned because they are probably molded to the other persons foot, but i love buying clothes and purses that have been preowned.

very true my little sister got some at a thrift shop once and actually caught some kind of foot fungus.....it is hard to clean shoes, its not like they can throw them in the laundry before bringing them into the store

Most things pre owned are just as good as buying them brand new but alot cheaper!

so true!! especially cars and clothes, they are my favorites to by used. obviously underwear is not :O)
