how did you feel when you brought your 1st laptop..??

Well, I was very happy indeed when I had my first laptop. It was not easy for me since I do not have much money for such item. But I do need the laptop for my work. Obviously when I bought it, it was very much a welcome development. But I was more happy when I bought the laptop that I am using now. It is quite expensive but I had the features that I was really looking for. It has a touch screen, I can convert it into a tablet, it has a remote control that I can use to control presentations and music. For me its the ideal laptop for my line of work.

I bought my very first laptop last december 2009 and it was a huge downgrade from my desktop rig. I'm still happy even if it's a downgrade since i'm not into gaming anymore and just do some light encoding that my laptop can do well. I'm planning to upgrade my laptop again this december and give this to my mother because her DV6000 laptop is dying. You know many horror stories about this DV series and thankfully after 2 years of using it that it show signs of failing.

I remember being really excited when I bought my first laptop. Back in those days they were pretty expensive and not everyone had one so I guess it was something of a status symbol to actually own one. It was a big clunky thing but I treated it like it was glass. No one else was allowed to touch it and I never took it anywhere because I was afraid that someone might take it or something. Simply put, it was my most prized possession. I still feel a bit of this everytime I get a new laptop (I'm on my third one now) but not as much as the first time around.

I got my first laptop two years ago. Before that time I had a couple of different desktops and I was happy with that, but when my last desktop broke down I decided to buy a laptop instead of a new desktop. I like my laptop very much, because it has made me much more independent. I have a wireless internet connection and when I go away for some days I can simply bring my laptop and work/study somewhere else for a while. I still remember the feeling that I got when I bought my laptop, I was very happy and excited and it was a new feeling to be able to work outside the house.

I still remember 2 years ago when I first got my computer,I was so excited,I bought a laptop for myself,though I like ThinkPad but it's expensive,I decided to buy a ASUS one,it still works well today.

Well i got my first laptop a year ago, when i get to an university. I was so happy about that. Its almost the best thing in my youth hostel room, because i can work on it, bring to the universitity, learn from it, watch films,serials, play videogames and can connect to the internet. From that time a spend a lot of time with my laptop.

I have brought my first laptop in this January.. am feeling so happy that I continuously used my laptop for 19 Hrs...But in Feb the mousepad got its color cleared and there u can see a black spot,thats y I am feeling some bad...

I was so excited over my first (and only) laptop. It was so much more convenient, ran faster, and really helped me to get things done more efficiently for school. I was also proud, because I had been saving up money for it for a long time.

I loved it when I bought my first laptop. I immediately went home and installed all the software I have been using in my desktop computer. I also brought it with me when I go to coffee shops with friends. Let them borrow it too. :)

I got my first laptop free with my internet service so I wasn't really as excited as if I'd bought it but I was still quite excited. That was until I switched it on and it has Windows Vista on, it was so horrible. I was far more excited when I got my copy of windows 7, it works so much better!

My first laptop was a gift from my parents. I was so excited and now I didn't have to wait 20 minutes for my computer to open windows explorer on my rusty Window 98 computer.
