I don't really trust this statistics, and it may be misleading the general public to gain our people's confidence. Well, it is a good thing to do, since our market still need people to spend money on. But what I knew is that not long ago, like a week ago, the stock market was declining, and many people withdrawing from their investment to help with their daily expenses. Probably that is one indicator for the retail sales rising. But for how long though? It also might be a propaganda from government to make our people less worry about this economy now?

The jobless statistics are solely based on the total number of people who are collecting unemployment. It is not truthfully based on the number who no longer are eligible or no longer qualified. So for any one to rely on these numbers is simply plain wrong. As fro sales going up, I do not believe this either as I have done several surveys and all seem to indicate whey people are not purchasing as they did before. So there something there in your discussion.
