Project for math

My son worked incrediably hard on a project for his 7th grade math class. Anyways today I was looking online at his grades. For that one project, it says its missing and is a huge part of his grade. He went from an A now to an F. The day it was due, I asked him if he had it to turn it in and he responded with a yes. Now today we found out about this missing assignment and both freaked out immensly. He told me today that he turned it in to his teacher personally. In the center the kids were to place a picture of themselves. My son told me that he doesnt think he put his name on it. I then told him, well considering your teacher has 150 kids daily, and he isnt familiar with every kid yet, he apparently didnt know who or wasnt sure who it belonged to. I just hope that the teacher doesnt give him an automatic F, for a no name. According to my son, the teacher didnt forwarn them if indeed that did happen. I hope the teacher has the project in the missing a name file. Crossing my fingers.

Most teachers are pretty reasonable, and once your son shows the teacher that the projects there, I"m betting he will get credit. Maybe a few points off or something, but I can't imagine the teacher failing him for leaving his name off.

Wow. It makes me sad whenever my work doesn't get credited. I also hope that his teacher would find his project since it seems that it is a huge deal on his grades. Anyway, I believe though, that the teacher should have recognized the project which doesn't have any name on it. She should have located your son immediately and she asked them to place a picture of themselves on their project right? I think that's for the purpose of knowing and being familiar with her students, and if in case it got lost or if the student somehow forgot his name. Also, maybe the teacher has not yet checked their project. I bet she'll soon find out that there's a project with no name on it when she starts checking them.
