If I won the lottery, I would... -Pay off the mortgage and any other debt -Buy an apartment complex in the city... maybe the east coast somewhere -Put a percentage into a retirement plan/ trust -Put another percentage into a CD -Buy a small house in the country or by the beach or both -Open my own gallery/ shop -Go to school in another country -Travel all around the world... or just buy a cruise ship -Open an healthy orphanage What about you? Have you even won anything from the lotto?

Strangely enough, I like questions like this, as they allow me to speak out my fantasies. Winning a lottery for me is far-fetched, but just in case I got hold of a winning ticket, I would likely do the following: 1. pay off all my debts 2. help with the treatment of the illness of 2 of my family members (chemotherapy really hurts the pocket) 3. buy a house 4. save money in the bank 5. invest on a business/franchise - maybe one of those healthy foods or environmental products 6. travel 7. establish a foundation or cooperative for struggling independent musicians, directed more towards covering their health expenses - this is a challenge in itself, as musicians are notorious for leading not-so-healthy lives 8. give money to my family and friends in need I may end up spending almost all, I don't mind as long as i have just enough for my needs and that money is shared and the people who matter to me are happy.

I love fantasizing about stuff like this too. Are you a musician too?

Strictly speaking I am not, but I have many musician friends and have worked with some of them. Many of them could use a win in the lottery too. :D

Everyone has a musician in them. But the one who are trying to make it out there, a help would be beneficial.

I suppose it depends on how much money I won (or hubby won because he goes on it and I don't) lol. The National Lottery would be less than the EuroMillions, as an example..but anyway.. I don't have children of my own but am close to my nephew, so I'd make sure he was OK financially and buy him a house as I know he would love his own place. Hubby would do the same with his sister and her son, make sure they have a more comfortable place to live and us of course! Both our parents' houses are paid for so it wouldn't be feasible to move them from their comfort zones, although if they wanted makeovers we could arrange that for them. Any money left would be invested/given away to charities and a holiday for EVERYBODY mentioned above would be an absolute must. Preferably somewhere with a lovely climate so my hubby's forehead doesn't get too pink with the sun.

Hubby does have a hat but it's not particularly fancy after travelling a couple thousand miles from Las Vegas (where he bought it, originally) so I reckon a new hat is a great idea, thanks!

I would first give some to church then buy as many cheap homes that I can to rent out that way I have more steady money coming in each month.Since if you just spend the money and do not invest any of it you will just be poor again in a short time. Also I would change my phone number to help slow down the greedy family members and people from trying to steal your money.

Haha, that would be cool to have someone make your food for you, but cooking is fun, you should do it.

Also I think I would move closer to the city since I do not like the country that much they do not have good internet service. So I could not even buy faster internet even if I wanted to and no cable either. Also I think it would be good to have a few maids to do the cooking and cleaning since I am not that good at cooking and it would be cool to have some maids.

If I won the lottery.. - I'd buy my father a permanent home (he rents) - Buy everything i NEED not WANT - Help my mother with some payments - The rest I keep for future purposes I'm not really the 'lets travel I have money' or 'shoppppiiiiing' person so that's all I'm gonna do.

If ever I won the lottery, I repeat if ever I win it; then the first thing I would do it to give it to you. Rest assured I will not go back on my word. I hope that you would do the same, and return it back to me

I would buy myself a small island (or a large one) and start a sovereign society. I'd also pay off my debts here. I haven't personally won anything, but my ex husband won $600 on a scratch ticket once.

If I were to win the lottery, I would give a large percentage into starting a charity. It would be a charity that helps handicapped people reach independence and the homeless see more than the streets. For me, I'm not one to hold onto money. In addition, it all depends on how much you receive after taxes are taken out. Yeah, I would pay off debt- buy a house -travel around the world- do the typical things people would do. However, starting a charity represents something ever lasting after I am gone and no longer can reap the benefits of wining the lottery.

For me this is not a very useful question to ask and answer because I know people are divided in two: before winning lottery and after winning lottery. Most of the people as I know can change themselves and their ideas after winning lottery and most of them ruins their lives. Maybe it will be the same for me as well. I don't exactly know how I am going to feel after winning lottery. So my plans may change.

Hi, I wish I have the luck to win lottery.which so far it never happened yet. Hope that BIG HAPPY DAY will comes soon... If I were to win the lottery,of course, depend on the amount that I won,I will do few things : make partial payment for my housing loan, treat my family for a great dinner, plan for short holiday trip, do investment(in share or housing estate),and give some to charities. Be it what, always donate some of the winning money to charities, as I believe good luck is there for me and I have to share my luck to someone else, then only I will feel happy. Of course, If I really strike the first prize with big lump sun of money, I will treat my parents for holiday trip and we are going to have fun together.

Hey, you havent mentioned the lottery amount. Well I assume it to be $100000. So it will be a pretty big amount for me. I will first of all buy a big house in the best part of the city for my family. Then I'll purchase a good luxury car. I'll purchase a latest high end smartphone Then I'll keep some money for my further studies. A part of it will go for my younger bro's studies. Another part I'll give to my father for his business. And rest I'll deposit in my bank account so that it keeps on increasing and can be used whenever there is a need. Oh but its all just an imagination :( I never won anything in any lotto.

If I won a lottery, I would, rebuild my ancestral house, make sure it will not be flooded again...Go traveling with my 87 years old mother, we explore all the good things together, because she deserved it. Then, I will share my money to my community, help them to have own resource income. Help my parish church in building the new chapel, and the beautification of our patron saint. Share my wealth to my family, friends. Then share my blessing in the charitable institution, and NGO with the primary concern of preservation of our mountains--- nature. Then save some for my retirement. But, of course this is one wish.... we all wanted to be true!!!

I must be honest in saying that I have never even won a dime from the lottery, but it is nice to dream about it. Therefore I can state what I would do with the money if it ever should happen. I will definately go on a shopping spree. Then, depending how much I won I would pay off my debt, that of my siblings and parents as well. I would then buy a farm for my brother, a house for my sister and a RV for my mother, she likes to travel. I would then buy myself a beach property in a prosperous coastal town, put up a pub, make sure there are two palm trees close to each other, put up a hammock between these and spend the rest of my days on the beach sipping cocktails until way after the sun goes down. But, like I said, it is only wishfull thinking. Mymill
