What happened to toneaday?

Does anybody really know what happened to toneaday? I am really sad since i already earned from the website and i was able to prove that this is a legit site. But then last august 24 i believe that they changed their system or process where in there will be a limitation of 500 words to rate every day. i kind of feel sad about that but still 500 words will help you earn 10.00 a day which is really not bad, right? But the fact that we can't even rate a word or two a day, makes it really frustrating. Every time you go to the website it says that it still to fetch words from their database. Anyone who has an update regarding this?

I don't know what's gone wrong with them. I joined the site after hearing how great it was supposed to be. I reached the qualifying process, and was told to wait about a week. I waited over a month, and just this week, I logged in to notice that the 'qualification process' message was gone. I received no e-mails to tell me whether or not I qualified (which I don't know why I wouldn't have, since I took my time and honestly rated the words). So, I can now rate new words, but my account balance is at $0, and there is nowhere to redeem my $1.80 (after the 'charity' donation). I think I've given up on this site! There's no point in trying to reach the next payout level only to have my balance reset to a big ZERO! That'd be a complete waste of time. Oh well, I guess I'll continue my search of other legit websites ;) Good luck!!!

That is really sad. Well it WAS really a good site until they changed their system. A lot of people are really frustrated by this, not only because of not being able to rate words but because we were not properly informed of the "change" that was going to happen. What i know is that they will just limit the number of words that people can rate everyday which is not a problem to me but how come MANY can not even rate ONE WORD per day? As for your experience, how come your balance became zero all of a sudden? And you didn't even redeem your money right?

I just tried rating words, but I don't seem to be having any problems. I get $0.02 per word and each word goes towards the total 500 quota. I still don't think I'm going to continue, though, as I don't want to reach the next payout level all for nothing ;) It does take time, and I could be using that time to look for new opportunities rather than just 'HOPING' this site will work! I really want to give it another chance, though, since you can pretty much control how much you earn each day (up to $10 per day, of course ;).

Actually i was able to redeem my earnings but then right after august 24 i believe that's when they changed their system, that was the time i was not able to rate anything at all. I'm not sure though if i will continue if this site will continue like this, i doubt other people as well will not go through the hassle of going to this website since they will not be able to rate word at all. have you tried rating words today? Were you able to rate any words? What website did you check that says this is a 50/50 site? Such a waste, a lot of people are really frustrated since they are made to believe that they will be able to earn money but in the end they will realize that their balance becomes zero without how and why :(

I waited over a month to have my words verified! I was finally able to rate words this week, but my account balance was now $0. I wouldn't hold my breath to wate for that process to end ;) And, if it does end, don't expect to get your money! Good luck, and I hope you have a better experience than I did!!!

you said you were able to rate words right? but how come does you account balance say $0? is there a glitch in the system? :( what i know is that it keeps on loading something which doesn't seem to end. a lot of people are really frustrated of what's happening.

I'm not sure what happened to Toneaday, either. I did my first 95 qualifying words, and had to wait over a week to be qualified past that. And a couple of days ago, I was able to log in, and update my profile, and I did rate about five words, and I got I was in a qualifications process again. So, I do not know. Right now, I'm just waiting and seeing.

It's actually like this, some people are able to log in, rate some words then they will get the message that says toneaday is currently refreshing to get some new words from the database but then nothings happens, some are not able to rate even one word, some people's balances becomes zero, i don't know what are people are experiencing though. maybe they have their own story. But the fact that a lot are affected by this, it is really sad and frustrating. It really takes about a few days to a week to either wait for the update that you are qualified and also to process the payment, if you are able to redeem your earnings, which I've heard that most people are not able to do so, including myself. What have you noticed aside from this?

I've noticed this too. And yes, it's annoying and disappointing. But, I've also had a payment since then, of over $20. I think we have to remember that they had a huge increase in users that they may not have been prepared for, and they also just did a lot of changes to their website/how the program works. I think I'm going to give it all of September, for them to work out the kinks of the new system. If they do, great, it's worth the money. If they don't, maybe I won't be staying there long.

Yeah me too. I have thought of that as well but they should been prepared anyway. Hosting an opportunity to earn online would really attract a lot of people right? But then time will come wherein you will be unprepared and maybe this is their time. I hope as well that this month they will sort things out and fix their website.
