Hello mylotters, this discussion is about how i hate when the boss call a team meeting just like 10 or 15 minutes before the time to leave from the work. I work in the IT department in the area of networking, and my boss used to call all the team for that unespected meeting, just because he want or for something that happen in the day. Have you been in that situation?

You can suggest your boss that you'll send him a report at the end of every working day. And The team will meet him on Friday every week. Is it Ok?

Yes I hate that too, apparently from my experience of the so many meetings we had in our office I have to say most of them are a waste of time. It is the same all the time, almost the same issues discussed over and over again. Sometimes it feels like there's just a meeting cause there should just be, not because we really have something to talk about.

I hate that too but so far I havent experienced that with my boss. If that will happen, I am going to attend the meeting for only 15 minutes and tell him that I need to go somewhere. lol

Just as you have said in this discussion, I also hate all the types of meetings. In my country, there may be a culture that most bosses are really Good at meetings, which is a boring thing because most meetings can help us get nothing at last. Yes, in most cases, these meetings are just a waste of time and if I have chances to make a decision, I will choose those things that are more meaningful instead of these annoying meetings.
