is obama this out of touch? Obama the absent is using tax payer money to redecorate the White House. why? aren't we still in a recession with unemployment hovering around 10% or did Obama( the liberal messiah) wave his hand and make it all go away? ya ya I know the argument president so and so did it and your just saying it because its obama and Bush blah blah blah. I don't want to hear it and if this your reason that the moron can waist tax payer money while we are in a recession, then don't bother responding

People were employed to manufacture the items placed in the president's office and also hired to do the remodeling. While this remodel will not effect overall unemployment it is more immediate and useful than many government work programs.

well I am glad he made that whole recession business go away, it was getting annoying all of my friends losing their businesses and homes.....
Regarding the redecorating, of course they wont disclose the amount it cost. It was funded by the White House Historical Society, which means it is a non profit and it should be made public.
I dont care who you are, you have to admit that this seems oddly familiar. I am reminded of a woman who once spoke of cake, who loved to spend lavishly while the "little people" starved. It didnt end well for her.
