I have just started reading James Patterson's books. I stumbled on this author by chance and now I am a big big fan of this guy. He is an amazing writer and every novel of his is spine chilling and enthralling. You will not feel the desire to even watch Tv is you are a TV buff. You just cant put the book down. I would strongly recommend his books to all who really enjoy thrillers. Enjoy !

I am glad James Patterson has found another fan! I discovered him after I watched the movie "Along Came a Spider". I found out it was from a book by James Patterson. I looked for him in a used-book store, and I found another book of his, Cat and Mouse. I bought it and read it. It instantly became one of my favorite books. It still is one of my fave! I like reading his works because they are past-faced and I can finish it faster than other books.

Oh, I have not seen the movie. I will definitely make it a point to see if I can get a DVD of it. I have also not read his Cat and Mouse yet. I will go to my library and see if I can find any more of his books which I have not read. You seem to be an intelectual, what with your big big forhead. haha. Thank you jaypeesol. I have just asked my son to get this movie for me.

There are 2 movies from James Patterson's Alex Cross series. Both stars Morgan Freeman as Alex Cross. 1. Kiss the Girls - Morgan Freeman, Ashley Judd 2. Along Came a Spider - Morgan Freeman, Monica Potter There was a TV movie as well, it's a love story called Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas. I think they also have a TV movie for 1st to Die, but I am not too sure about it. There was a TV series called Women's Murder Club but I don't think it's any good. Have fun "watching" James Patterson's books! :)

Hi yugasini, yes I am on my lot after quite some time, not because I was toooo busy, but my comp used to hang every time I entered this site. I was really frustrated but could do nothing. Now fortunately it has started accepting this site and I am back with my friends. Yes, I can understand your working very hard online to make some money. I wish in India there were really good paying sites. Anyway I am sure Telegu books must also be really good. Have a nice day.

it's really nice to know that there are books written by James Patterson finally engage your great interest to read them. Yeah, what a great pleasure to come across the right writer whom we appreciate. During my teenage days I indulged in reading science fiction novels from the same author as well. I always went in hot pursuit of his latest book. Later on I was crazy about another lady writer who was popular with her romantic novels. I was her huge fan that time and always chase after every new edition. When getting older I no longer have interest reading such books. At the moment I have more interest in reading books about stock investment. Might be they are quite dull to others. Anyway I like it and would spend a short while daily reading it relaxingly daily Happy posting

The only books I've read by James Patterson are his Maximum Ride series. I really enjoyed the first three books, but the next three really seemed to run downhill. I'm not sure that I really like his style. There's a conspiracy theory that James Patterson hasn't actually written anything for years... that he just hands an outline to a ghostwriter. I think I believe it. Partially because it seems like the Maximum Ride novels are at war with themselves.

Well, I dont know who writes the books, but the stories are written in an amazing manner and are just too thrilling for words. His name is on the books and it is he who is getting famous. I have not read the Maximum series, but the other books are amazing. Do try and read the other books, and no matter who has written them, you will enjoy them. Thanks.

Ketybhagat, I'm still not sure that I'd enjoy his other books. I really prefer to read high fantasy, and while I enjoyed some of the Maximum Ride books... I didn't really like the style in which they were written. I kind of doubt that I'll enjoy his other series, but I think they'll be fast reads so I will try them out. Jaypeesol, having only read the Maximum Ride series, I wouldn't really know them from his earlier books. I do know that the Maximum Ride novels don't feel consistent. Like I said before, they seem almost at war with themselves.

I did notice that his earlier books were better than his later ones, and he puts out too many books each year! Maybe he doesn't write anymore. I will keep reading his work though.

I love James Patterson!! He is one of my favorite authors. I read all his books. If you want a teen novel, read the Maximum Ride series which is very good but I will admit doesn't have the best writing style. I love his Alex Cross novels which are about a police officer who tracks down these brilliant serial killers. The material is a lot more graphic but if you don't mind that then I recommend the books. He writes crime novels so suspenseful and well. Have a nice day!

Hi juneramir, thanks for replying. I too have read a few of his Alex Cross books but none of the Maximum ride series. I shall try and read them too. He is one guy who can make me leave all my work and stick to reading all the time. Every page is full of suspense. Ciao and have a nice day.

Hey bhanu, you are on the verge of a great discovery if you are an avid reader of fiction. I am sure you will find the books to your liking and will not want to put it down, so exciting it becomes. I pick up books on the recomendation of my librarian and he really does know his work. Do give his novels which have Alex Cross as the main hero a try and enjoy !
