Have you ever tried to argue with your boss? I just did. Well, not to the extent of shouting, but I just needed to make a point. And as expected, I received a cold treatment from her. I knew I was on the right side. She just can't accept that she was being corrected. I still respect her as my boss but to keep on receiving this cold treatment was way so distracting to my work. I was thinking of taking a long break at work but will it help me settle the problem with her? I wanted to talk to her but to admit that it's my fault..well, it's not so me at all. Tell me, how can I get out of this mess? It really distraught me..

FIRST thing is talk it out with her, if you take a loog break the n it will get worse. Once you talk with her you will get the idea whats she thinking about you and might be that will help you to search a better option than this. In anyways you shoul talk to her and make things clear...

That was what I had planned to do. Now she was acting like nothing have ever happened. But she still won't talk to me...I'm afraid that if I talk to her, it would start another argument.. But I will still try..come what may.

See when you got to talk to her don't try to start ur argument that you were right. It's the time for making you foundation strong. So just go ahead and start casul topic and ten try to make thinks better or clearer. At the end of the day it's the pay cheque what matter lol :)

I think just let it be because obviously your boss has a pride already to the extent of being stubborn and self righteous who always think that she is right. Most of the time that is their mentality especially when they became boss just like they already feel that they are a God to the highest level that everybody must glorify her just because she is the boss. I have experienced that to my classmate when he became my boss that he thought I am a kind of person that will tolerate his wrong doings to the extent that I will just obey to the things that he wants. Only to find out that our company is in bad fate to the extent that he was not able to pay us properly until now. I am in the process of making the legal actions against him.

I'm so sorry to hear that.. it's even worse than my case. Yes, it's the pride that brought them to that. So sad to hear that we the subordinates have to suffer..:-(

I just did too. lol Well, it was this morning when he called me to his office and talked to me something about my teaching schedule. He was blaming for the decrease in the number of my students. He was also meddling with my affairs for having an internet connection at home. I talked to him and told him that its none of his business if I do that. I think I was bad but I dont care.

I see there's some sort of relief that you felt out there when you did it, huh..good for you. Wish I could do the same thing, too. But meddling in your personal affairs??? It's way too unethical..

Don't worry. Your boss will be calm down more and more. She'll understand that you only do that because working. You should be normal with her.

Some boss don't realiaze that if they dont have a good subordinate they dont have output. If you will argue with you boss make sure that we have basis. should be black in white evidence. many boss hard for them to realize fault. They can't even say simple words like sorry, thank u, its my fault. yOu should talk to your boss and explain your side she will appreciate or lessen the cold war. good luck.

I had already explained my side..but no reason is good enough for her. So, I just let it be and wait for her to cool down..
