Wimax one time payment

here in our place there's an agent of globe selling a wimax for 3k pesos.. he said just paid 3k pesos and life time you can use this.. i saw also this is connected to internet but im doubt how long it will be activated... is It true that there such thing that one time payment not a monthly bill?

i dont think its possible, I use to have wimax but then i upgraded to DSL when open our city for globe. even dsl have problems, if you subscribe to that one time plan, where are you going to report when some troubles come up. Wimax is the next generation internet reception, we are lucky Globe invested on the technology, wimax is very fast, double the speed if we compared it with other provider. you can go to your nearest globe office for inquiries, but i doubt they will ever give that offer.
