I am also webdesigner..I also worked as a part time in one of the company in Pune.. Then I heard from a friend about themeforest.com Its good site that pays webdesigner to design sites and sell then using their Portal... Absolutely agree 100%,if you're still work in web designing company you can't maximize your earning every month.Your salary always same though you have a lot of task.But if you have own web designing company you can manage your time and your earning by your self. That's what i did saura.I was resigned last month from the company and now I've try to build my own business.And that's a lot of fun.

If you have got enough experience, I think you should start you own part time work, along with tour full time job, then after some time when the workload of your part time business increases you should switch to full time. This is what I feel.
