I have a feeling that is going to be harsh. Last winter was very mild, and the year before that was hard. So I am thinking that this coming winter will be a hard one too. If I didn't have to drive to work everyday, it wouldn't be a problem. Unfortunately, life goes on, even on a very cold winter.

I am hoping that the winter will be mild since we had such a hot summer here. Many say that it will go to the other extreme and be very cold and stormy. Guess we have to wait and see what happens.

-25 C ? I'm in the UK and we thought that we had a hard winter last year with several weeks of snow (unusual) and below freezing temps. It's unknown for it to get as cold as that though I think that it was getting down to the teens below in the north (Scotland)
I have a feeling though that next winter will be another cold one so I hope that you're well prepared!

It seems like every winter keep hearing the same thing. i hear what a terrible winter it is going to be. it will be worse than last year.! We are going to have more snow than last year! When the winter comes I don't see that it is any different than the year before. When winter comes, we just have to take what we are given. Worrying about how the weather may be doesn't change it.

I follow this avidly as I am the biggest kid when it comes to snow, I love it. The only thing I hate is driving in it. And I am sorry for the elderly who cannot make their walks for fear of slipping over.
Joe Bastardi normally does a winter forecast for the UK around now up to October. Mark Vogan does too, for the UK, I think his is due 1st October, I await with eagerness!

Ever since i was a kid i had been wishing to to see and touch a snow one day. Im in a tropical country and we only have two season, summer and rainy season. A little 18 C is already a big deal to us here and when it goes down to 12C we were in heavy jackets already, lol! what more if we experience winter? hmmmn, thinking of it now i guess its a little hard to fit in the snow season :)
