i have plenty of guy friends who are just that friends. I think guys and girls can be just friend without there being anything else going on. I know in my life i have had planty of male friends who were just friends. but in all honesty what is better then creating a relationship with someone you are friends with first. Im just saying

I have several friends that are male that are just my friends. We have been friends for years (since high school). I guess with my male friends, I never saw them as anything other than friends. I certainly never saw them as boyfriend materials, or even husband material. My husband also has several friends that are female that he has known since high school as well.

When I was in high school, one of my best friends was a male and I never expected anything more from him except for his friendship. We ran into each other four years ago when his mother tragically passed away. He told me then that I was one of the best friends that he has ever had. Now that I am married and with a family of my own, I still find that just as many of my friends are males as are females and that is just the way that things are for me.

I'm living proof that a man and a woman can be Just friends. I have a dear friend and he's a guy. I always felt more comfortable with guys. We have never taken anything further and we don't want to. He is like a big brother to me. But, I must confess my guy , boyfriend , Is my best friend. so I have lived it both ways. He fell for me way before I fell for him. We did start out as friends and he was patient and never pushed and now we are a couple.

Hi Crazy_posters!. There is always possibilities friendship between men and women. But there is big chance love come in the middle. I mean if you know someone really well and they give they support for you in bad times also make sure he always there for you. Don't you feel your heart moved by it and I thing there is no men in this earth who sacrifice many thing with woman if he don't feel something.

Hi crazy_poster How are you doing today. I really wanna tell you, before 5 minutes, I just thought about this, so I really would like to ask your question. For me, I dont think boy and girl could be just friend, I mean the real friend. No matter what people think, I do. I think if I broke up with my girlfriend, I cant be friend with her. I dont know why, but I just cant do that. Of course I know many people could be friend with his or her ex. It really vary from person to person.

i think i seen this topic many topic and it is a obvious thing to say , a girl boy relation as a friend can you successful , and the society accepts it , untill they both understand each other ,and it stay as long as it can be ... but if any one of you felt to know more , then that stage would be the turning point of going further ....it happens to many in some stage .......so many friends juz convert their relation .........

I think that it all depends on the situation because I know girls who have guy bestfriends and they didnt even take it to next level. If both feel that they were in love then maybe the should move to being as lovers than bestfriends. Its a good way that they started as bestfriends because they all know what are the likes and dislikes of each other. But the sad thing is if ever they break up. Most ended up having bad feelings about each other. I really think that whether or not they end up together the friendship should be preserved and that there will be not hard feelings at all. Lets just hope for the betterment of their relationship.

No. It may start off as a friendship, but it will turn into more. It always happens. So girls don't be surprised when your guy friends suddenly proclaim their love to you. And married women with husbands that have a "girl friend" lol. It's okay to do some snooping.

I believe so. Actually,I have more male friends than women. Our friendship also usually last for years. I think there's nothig wrong being friends with opposite gender. May be if anyone of them has a hidden motive in befriending with, that's probably a problem might occur.

I always believe that girls always have a romantic expectations. However, if the guy is not doing anything, definitely, they can just be friends. It's always 2 to tango. Regarding the question if is it always that one person always want something more than friendship, my answer is yes although I don't think they planned it. It just happens. I do not believe that there's such thing as platonic relationship. I've tried it a lot of times and failed.

Well,, i think they can be best friends and they can take their relationship to the next level by being so close to eachother and sharing their pains and happythings. im not sure about the physical level but everyone wants something more from physical level. The only thing that can take their relationship to the next level is to understand eachother well and have to be so close to eachother just like that sort of things you know.
