Are you buying something on Labor Day weekend sale?

I am hearing lots of offers for labor day sale, almost for everything, and everywhere. But I was wondering how many people are really going to take those deal as days are tough for lots of people. Personally I am not planning to buy anything special because of the labor day sale. I am just going to do regular grocery shopping and few other things what we need in regular basis. Are you planning any special shopping for labor day weekend? If you do then what you are planning to buy? Are you planning any special things to do for these long weekend? Question for myloters who live outside US: Do you have labor day holiday, and if you have labor day, then do you get special offers for shopping during these days? Wish you all a happy long weekend!!!

I think most of the stores will be open on Monday. Some banks will even be open for short hours on Monday. I think some stores never close except for Christmas Day.

I am working hard to get enough money together for a new laptop, but it will not be this weekend. In my opinion, one sale runs into another and there is always a sale of some kind going on. I only shop when I need something. I have two or three Christmas gifts purchased already, and I am not really looking for others yet. My favorite sale is a Clearance Sale. I do not have any special holiday weekend plans, either. We have had a few weeks short of money, and are just getting back to paying the bills on time.

I agree that in clearance also you can get as good deal as like holiday deal. Like you I also buy things when I need it, not like when I want. Have a great weekend!

I intend to stay as far away from the stores as possible. Not only because they used to be crowded ( not sure if they will be this year ) but because I have nothing to spend ( which is why they probably won't be crowded ). I've always avoided the holiday sales. Usually the promotional items were gone in the first few minutes anyways.

I totally understand what you are talking about. It is really a hard time for shopping for lots of people, and holiday sale does not make much different. Anyway real good deals are very limited as you said. Hope you have a great long weekend!
