Naxals are attacking large number of targets particularly police forces. Naxals often use war like extremism to capture political power and being anti social element. Government is not taking firm action against them. The approach to the naxalites problem needs a blend of firm but sophisticated action. Maoists attack has become a highly debated topic of the current times. If government fail to do this then this will only remain a topic for debate and for news channels to make big news.........Will our government take some firm action? Otherwise naxals will make mountain out of a molehill......

See,politicians are good players of human emotions. They could even try to extinct a race for no solid ground like Hitler.the point is that either we vote them blindly not being educated or we just play fool like idiots even being educated. So it's not the govt who is not taking firm decisions,it's our infinite capacity to bear pain that eases their delayed policy. Thanks Happy MyLotting!!

Yep i agree your point. but still only government can take action and not we common people who dont have rights to take action against these forces. Only right we have is VOTE FOR RIGHT PERSON AND RIGHT PARTY

Right party??Please, give me an example of that kind. You're free to choose from the WORLD.Only a good leader can't take a firm decision alone. It's not totalitarianism. Now,I personally,if there would have one and probabily in India. Thanks Happy MyLotting!!

Actually the naxalite issue is a delicate and complicated one. It was a sort of movement against the corrupt government officials in the undeveloped parts of states of Jharkhand and Orissa. It was started by the tribals and adivasis of these states who were for long facing the atrocities by the police and the state government. They wish for a better future and prosperity of their children. However their ways of doing so went haywire and finally it became more of armed rebellion against the government. They despise democracy as they believe it is reason for their suffering and are fanatically driven to gain power by all means. Hence they adopted communism as their propaganda and want to replace democracy with it. It might have worked if we had been a newly liberated nation but not now. The movement has gone spiralling out of control now as these naxalites are fanatically driven by this idea. And hence think blowing up police and army personnel as a part of their 'communist revolution'. We just cannot wait for the politicians to do something about it but we need to do 'something' ourself. If wait for people to do it, I think it won't happen. We need to educate the poor and underdeveloped sections of our nation and show them the reality of what's going on.Its easier to speak of such things but hey its not a bad for a start. As for the media, they've done for more worse on many occasions. The more we educate the lesser are such recruitments for naxalites and maovadis. Though there are practically warzones in some parts of these states we as civilians should not shun them but instead try to educate the ignored masses and help them develop. Perhaps fighting fire with fire in this case would not be such a great option as the harder we try more the reason the naxalites get a reason to retaliate, more the people of underdeveloped communities fear the officials, more the people hate and more the bloodshed. Hence we should indeed visit places with growing influences of the naxalite threat and open the people to the modern world and education. It does sound stupid but atleast it can do something as a start. There can be no growth until and unless all the masses are educated regardless of who they are, where they are from or what has been their past.
