Are we being scammed?

I'm sure that a lot of mylotters are PTC members. I've read so many discussions about it. But how will we really find out if a site is a scam or not? I guess, no one can tell until we get scammed. They say to check ptc-investigation but the site itself can't catch up with so many ptc sites mushrooming everyday. So, I stayed with the trusted ones like neobux, etc. But then again, I try other sites too. Like right now, there is this PTC site that I joined in (again?). It has 8 ads a day for $0.01 per ad. I am staying with it until cash out or scammed out, to find out if it's worth it. The bottom line is not to invest money on it. That way, if they turn out to be a scam site, it hurts, but it doesn't burn a hole in my pocket. Anyway, when I start clicking, I do 2-3 sites simultaneously. Therefore, I didn't invest so much in time too. While waiting for an ad to finish in my trusted site, I was also clicking on another PTC site. Therefore, they load at almost the same time. So, if a site that I think was okey but wasn't, I didn't lose much but gained more for finding out if the site is a scam. I can't wait to find out if this site that's giving me 8ads a day is legit? Don't you think so? For no one can tell really, right? As I said, don't invest money until we're sure anyways!
