Dont you wish you had a second chance?

Hiya bunnybon, Yes at least a few times I wish I had had that chance example when I have said something the wrong way round. When I have spelled something that stands out like a sore thumb that it´s not right (grin). A few other little things too but of very great importance. Important thing is we are able to write on here to each other. Who does´nt make spelling mistakes anyway and miss words out. I once duplicate a response and I still don´t know how I did it but I sure wish I could have taken it off the last one I mean. Also putting a tag on the wrong page (grin) you guessed it that is me as well. So who does not make mistakes huh?

Yes, over the last couple of years I have made a bad decision in my communication with someone. I wish I could go back and start over with this person. I feel I have made a mistake. I have no recourse at this point.

Many times when I have posted something here, and then reread it later like when responding back to others, and such I wish we could have an Edit feature or a delete, etc. as well. Maybe in time they could consider this, as this would be quite a helpful thing for sure.

I wish we could edit our discussions and comments. I guess I think so much faster then I can type and I end up leaving out complete sentences. Or I am responding to comments late at night and my brain just isn't functioning as well...lol I often post stuff that looks like a 3rd grader wrote it.

i'm glad i don't get second chances as everything i do i mean,and it has made me the person i am today,and i like that person

I think that having the ability to edit our posts at any time that we see fit would be a great addition to this site. I am a member of many other forums as well and that is one thing that I use on a regular basis is to edit my posts. I can't say that I have typos all the time, but there are some times that I do have typos and they honestly are something that does drive me insane. So chalk me up to another vote for more chances.

I think most of us have wished for an edit button! It's so infuriating especially if there is a glaring typo in your discussion or as you've mentioned left off a vital part! I can't understand why an Edit button cannot be installed it would make life so much simpler and a lot of people happier! I am also sure that discussions started in haste and regretted afterwards would or should be deleted by the poster! I've done that in the past, I've started a discussion and gone out and started to think, mmmm maybe I shouldn't have said that, or worded it in a particular way or even started the discussion in the first place. For me a typo in the discussion title is the worst thing for me as it glares at you and stands out like a sore thumb!

For me if it's key why not second change is more understandable than for the first time.

Sure, I have written something, checked it to make sure it was right, posted it, and then found I had an error. Sometimes my punctuation isn't what I intended, which is not such a big deal, but sometimes I find I left out a key word, so part of what I wrote doesn't make sense. Just think of it as email. Once you send it, you can't take it back. Many years ago, you could, in fact, cancel an email if the other party had not yet opened it.

yes there are times i do, especially when i did something wrong or spoke bad to someone that i wish i did not do, you know sometimes we could not also control our feelings more so when we are tired from work

A lot of thing, we can do only one time. It cannot be change, so don't worry too much about what we did, if you did something wrong, try to fixed it as much as you can, and don't worry about the result, because no one is perfect in this world.

...i agree, there are those times that we commit mistake before we could even realize it and then we just find it out but its too late to edit it...it's a good idea to have a way to edit a discussion....=)

yes,every people want have second chance.when we do some wrong,or make a wrong decision.we may always want a second chance. but everybody know regret have no use. so ,when we begin to do something ,we must think thoroughly.

If I have a second chance.I would work to literature and I woule not be what it is today.

As everyone else yes I have made spelling errors or left out important information. I used to wish for an edit button until I realized that responses might not make sense if we could go back and edit our post. The same reason that GAA has explained why a comment under a response gets deleted as it wouldn't make sense floating out there without the comment. We can always ask myLot to delete one of our discussions, not sure if they do that for posting errors or not, but you could always ask them to and see what the response might be. As for forgetting to post the name all we have to do is ask in our prayers to watch over bunnybon7's friend and that should be enough info for God, since he's all knowing you probably don't even have to have that much info for him to know what were talking about.

We all make mistakes. Yes, it would be nice if we could correct them but just remember u are not alone.

Hey bunny! That's ok! I'm sure the message will get through anyway~lol I am always forgetting things, and it keeps getting worse. I can think of something I want to do or get in the bedroom, walk from the kitchen into the bedroom and forget what it was I went there for! It is extremely annoying, yet I can remember insignificant bits of worthless crap from years! Me and my girlfriends laugh about that all the time. We remember stupid stuff from years ago, but can't remember something from one minute to the next! I think myLot purposely doesn't want us to be able to edit or they'd never get anyone to finish their questions!

As long as your heart knows who you want to pray for, there's no need to worry. :)

hmmm.. well... yeah... I think it would be great if you can have access to your discussion even after you have posted it, that way you can edit and elaborate on your discussion topic when you flash with better and fresh ideas. But since it doesn't work that that way, my advice is to just make a new discussion and re-post with the same tittle. Hope that helps. :)

If you are worried you have forgotten the name of the person you want to be prayed for, don't worry, God knows who he/she is, before you even thought of praying. It is good though to be able to get another chance to correct whatever mistakes we have made in life but mistakes makes us human. The best thing is to rise up and learn from that mistake.
