As everyone knew the internet is serving billions of users in the worldwide. It is a network consists of private, public, business and government activity.I felt we are not safe for our records after I watched one movie. Everything is controlled by the internet, others can go into your computer and revise your password, and stole your picture, video, which are your private things. Also, we can check out and get what we need through look into something. At the same time, I started to realize it is not safe because of the record of our checking, maybe it saved our IP address, private information etc. Do you have a good way to keep our safe when we need to use internet to check everything? Welcome your good suggestions here.

...honestly, nothing is safe, specially in this information highway, the internet..however, there are those security software that is present today to preserve the security of your data and other information related to you...but still it is in our sole responsibility to keep our information safe by making sure a certain site where we provided our information is secured and legit..it is best to check the site's privacy and terms so that we will understand further how that particular site is behaving..also, as much as possible, don't just download files from the internet if you are not sure about its source...

the records in our computer are safe when we use internet if we have the firewall on and using the best anti virus which stops the others from entering our computer.no need to bother if we have the original anti virus and is up to date.

Hi bettdeng5,
With the billions and billions of people surfing the internet daily, privacy is a huge concern of mine. When I place an online order or pay a bill using a credit card, I worry. Even though I know that most sites that I do business on are encrypted or coded in gibberish from prying eyes, I still worry about the intelligent hackers being able to decrypted or decode my information.
Nothing in life is guaranteed, but we still have to try to keep our private information from the hackers who wish to get to our information. I listen to the expert advisors, who give good tips on how to be safe when using the internet to conduct any business transactions online.
I personal do not give my social security number to just anyone that ask, only if I know that the institution is well known such as my bank. Also, when I do business online I look for some indication such as a padlock, which indicate that the site is encrypted and is safe to use.

I don't think it safe...I don't usually input my general info over the net, especially when its not secured. So what I did I don't usually input my personal data over the internet for security reason instead I used to keep things into my USB thumb drive and just plug into my PC when necessary. There are kind of key loggers that can enter your system and control your whole data file.
Happy myLotting!
