One of the memorable nightmares I have ever had was one I had when I was around 5 years old.
I used to get up every morning and watch the Saturday morning cartoons. I used to love the league of heroes. One night I had a dream that superman and batman turned evil and were chasing me all around my apartment complex. I remember being able to jump to the rooftops, and I never got tired. But it was very scary for me!
Do you have a memorable nightmare you would like to share?

Hey Zionsphere!
Yes, I have had a memorable nightmare.
Mine had to be when I was about 10.
I was in a burning house and all of the stuffed animals came alive and had blood all over their faces. And to make it worse, Chucky was the leader. They were all chasing me, then I got out of the house. The last thing I remember was when I was able to kick chucky since I was tall enough. But then the other dolls looked at me with anger and started trudging at me.
Have a great day!

Haha you are definately right. Oh, and I also had another nightmare after watching poltergeist. I was washing my face and my skin started falling off. That was scary.

Geez... maybe watching Chucky at ten years old had something to do with that one? How scary! I watched poltergeist when I was seven. I had nightmares for months! Scary movies just aren't made for kids.

I don't know about a particular nightmare, but I think the horrible dreams are when we fall from a high mountain, or a building or anything that is high. A teacher said us that everybody has this dream at least once in a lifetime, that he falls from a high thing, because it is one of the ancient fears of humans, to fall from the top of something. It is a terrible feeling, and I also wake up when I dream this.
Another terrible nightmare is when I am choked by a person and I cannot scream for help and I am unable to move. It is just terrible. The worst is that when I wake up from this type of dreams is that everything is aching, I am all sweat and very agitated. The worst thing is that this type of dreams are very realistic, and the scenery is the room where I went to bed. They are very scary and are very hard to forget. I always feel strange the next day.

I've had the one where I'm being strangled and can't scream for help. That was awful!
I fall in dreams all the time...usually not from very high up though.

Wow. I used to have similar dreams about my toys, and various objects in my room dancing around. As a matter of fact, that was the subject of my first dream within a dream. You know, the kind where you wake up and you're still dreaming?
I dreamed I called my Mom and grandma into the room to show them the stuff dancing around, and when they got there, they didn't seem to think it was a big deal and told me to just deal with it! ...then I woke up for real.
Yeah ..that one shook me up a bit!

i couldn't actually remember the nightmare but the experience was something memorable. it happened about a few months ago i think. i don't actually get it coz there was a bridge and i think i was crossing it, then there was this sea and i think monsters and creatures were there. they had really scary faces, i'd assume that coz i was really scared and i was actually trying to wake up from that dream coz i think they were already after me. but i couldn't wake up or couldn't move my body and after so much struggle i was able to lift my body off my bed, but i didn't start up i just rolled over. i wanted to ask my sister if i did ask her help to get me up but i didn't coz that could have also been part of the dream.
after that i try not to sleep straight, like my back on the bed, but sideways.
the experience was scary but when i think about the dream it's confusing and funny coz i can't make out anything.

When I was about 6 years old I dreamed that all my family was chasing after me. I tried to run as fast as it was just possible, but they caught me and began sucking my soul through thin metal tubes they were holding close to their lips. Then I woke up. It was quite scary for me and I do not understand at all why my family, the ones I love, turned out to be the reason of a nightmare..

Oh man! isn't it weird how people appear and disappear in your dreams without any reason? I hope you still had a good day at school!

Hi. zionsphere. I have dreamed that I was being chased by an demon. I would jump and leap from building to building. Sometimes I would even fly too. I was so scared! On the other hand there are the bad dreams that I did not have anyone that could rescue me. I would just run to my next door neighbors house and no one was there at all. I would knock on their door and no one would never answer! Their cars were in the yard too. In real life, if I was to ever knock on their door, they would open it, I hope!

My memorable nightmare is kind of funny, don't laugh at it after reading.
I remember when I was in first semester and after one of my exams, I was sleeping in the afternoon. At that time, I had a dream that it is morning time and I am not prepared for the history exams (History, civics and geography are the most scary subjects of my life, I am grateful to the education system that I could avoid these subjects after 10th class). After that dream, I was so nervous, I was sweating heavily while sleeping, my roommate got scared that time (temperature was 4 - 10 C). When I woke up, it took 5 minutes for me to understand that it had been 5 years since those subjects were out of my syllabus. I can not tell you how much relaxed I was after realizing that it was a dream. It seems to be a funny dream but I know that it was the horrible nightmare for me.

Oh dreams about real- life stresses are the worst! I remember having a dream like that in the 5th grade. I hadn't been turning in all of my homework, and I had a dream that my teacher sat me down, pulled out a big book full of makeup homework pages, and kept turning the pages saying "You can do this one...and this one.." After he gave me about 15 makeup pages I started to cry, and he just kept going! I woke up in tears! Very bad nightmare for me... but yeah, it kind of seems funny now.
