We used to see those +, - and ! for every post we see in here? But have you ever tried clicking them? They play an important role in this site. So I do suggest you click them specially the +. The more the post received a + rating, the more the chances of this site being visited. And from those visitors, this site is earning, and those earnings will make MyLot keep us paid. So lets help MyLot. Let's click this!

I rate discussions, responses and comments, just like myLot wants us to do. But, unfortunately, there are a lot of users that use the negative rating in an incorrect manner.
I mean if you have a different oppinion than theirs, you risk to get a negative rating.
I'm just curious, why do you think that the chances of myLot to be visited will be higher if a post has more positive ratings?

are you guys complaining? well, it's a fact that there's still people out there that rates negative..most specially if they disagree with some issues most specially politics.
the reason i asked because this rating problem had been dealt with. admin decided to limit the use of rating. LAST YEAR. there's been a lot of Trolls who unlimitedly rated a lotter negative all the way. we had address this concern since the unli rating system had been abused.
if some ones gonna rate you negatively, it's going to take a lot of users to do so. which is unwise...

I always use the rating system. And like you I really do hope other people use them too. It's a great way to keep the high standards of the discussions ... and the site. I always use the + and I make sure I let them know that I did when I do. I never used the - though because I never really saw the point, unless the person speaking was just really being rude or disrespectful maybe but thankfully I have not yet come across such a post. But if it's just a matter of difference in opinion, I really don't see the point in using the negative.

Hello there,
I never use the Negative thing (-), for one reason, I am also affected. besides, if the discussion is somewhat wrong, then i have no choice but to report it to the admin. even if people neg.rate me, i never rate them negative. if people use neg.rate all the time, the star will drop and so as the rate of your earnings. I had experience it on my old account. so, if that turns blue and you simply just want to earn. don't let it drop.

I have done positive ratings, but never a negative rating as far as I remember. We all have different opinions, so I don't see any reason to rate negatively anyone
But it's true that lately I'm not rating at all...

We need to give + where it is due and report ones that violate the rules. I have noticed though that some new mylotters are not following therules or I dunno if they have read the rules of what to post and what not to post. Recently there have been people who have been posting their blogs with the ultimate goal of recruiting members to become their referrals. I just saw one now.
