Will anyone ever compare to your first love?

I don't think I can compare any of my relationships since each were unique. I had something special in all those relationships I had in the past and I can't compare them with my current one. As for my first love I rarely think about her and I don't compare my current with my past exes.

There is nothing like your first love. First loves always capture your heart and forever have a place in your existence. Your first love is like an eye opener to what loving someone romantically can bring. It's a life changing experience like no other. It's being vulnerable for the first time with someone.I would be lying if I said that I never compared my first love with my present love. However, even though I have compared the two, there is nothing like the love one, in which you will spend the rest of your life with and will always look at you like their first love.

I do not think that i could ever compare a boyfriend or my husband to my first love.I think that people are soo different and that they have different qualitys.When i had my first love it was years ago and back then i do not think that i knew what love really was,but over the years i found what true love was and i married for the second time,to be with the man who is the love of my life.

If you ever try to compare your present and previous love,you're trying to remember things that didn't work with you and I think there is no point of doing that beacuse whatever that doesn't stay with you is to forget.One should not compare because everybody is different from others and everybody has unique way of understanding life.If somebody's view matches with yours,he/she will stay or he/she will leave.Comparison only takes you somewhere from which you always want to get rid off. no i didnt compare^^ actually my first love i dont want a bf like him again bcs he was too careless to me. for now i just want a sweet one that always cares for me and loves me really more than everything^^ i just want a simple guy that really is willing to love me^^ thats all i need^^ my first love i have good memories but also bad ones crying and going sick so. i just want dont compare boys^^ all guys are different and thats great^^

I agree with you. Comparing my first and present would be very difficult because my first love is when my mind is too young and my present love which is we're now 4 years in relationship would be in my college years up to now.
