What's the difference between Ipod and Ipad

I have an Ipod and I found it amazing. Now, I am beginning to see the term Ipad. Is it a better gadget? How does it differ with Ipod?

bigger the better :) its a coolest gadget now, if you take it our in the mall or in restaurant i am sure you will be notices.... it has most of the fucntcion that a laptop had.... with some limitations:)

iPod is a gadget with an aim to be the most smallest, lightest & portable music player while on the other hand iPad is a tablet pc which aims to be the most smallest, lightest & portable personal computer to perform functions like web browsing, executing apps, playing games etc.....

The main difference is the processor speed and really in terms of gaming and web browsing it really comes into its on league
