What inspires you to bookmark websites?

There are certain websites that we go to go on a day to day basis but there are new websites that we find. Obviously, bookmarking every one of them is insane(even though I did that for a brief period, but I've moved beyond that phase). Perhaps its a site that I'm going to go back to later time and time again and want to save the five seconds in typing in the URL or maybe its just website with a complicated URL. However, there are many websites that I bookmark. How about you? What inspires you to bookmark websites?

Bookmarks is the perfect function that we can search what we need and can have a look at what we interested in the explorer such as IE or Firefox and so on.for me,the function is good to me because I am a lazy man so when I searched the Internet I always open my list where I put the website used as usualamd start my net life.it is convenient.along with the number of websites is increasing,the best way to deal with the worried web is to update the bookmark,deleting the used website.
In a word ,the convenient and saving the time is the inspiration for me to bookmark the websites.

Any time that is saved for any reason, whether it be on the Internet or otherwise, is rather good for me. That is why I really enjoy having websites bookmarked in a nutshell. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I am a designer by profession and so when I find something interesting in any site... I do make it a point that I bookmark the site so that I can take reference from it later on. Also, I bookmarks sites which have important information for me. And yes, there is one more important thing that I do...
There is a very interesting plugin for firefox named screen grab. I use it for a lot of thing. I use it when I find any good website and take the screen shot. So, later on when I design a website I take reference of icons, color combinations etc so that I can make a good design keeping in mind the latest trends.

I bookmark a website when I find it useful or interesting and I know that I will visit it again for sure. Fortunately I don't do bookmarks cleaning too often, so I have many bookmarks of websites I'm not interested into anymore

Yeah, it is a good idea to do some cleaning every now and again. After all, some links are bound to die, because of the websites not being kept up or the domains expiring. So there's really no point. The fact that I like it, of course, and that I think it will updated regularly. If a site won't be updated often there is no point in going back to it often. Also, sometimes I bookmark sites where I find really useful and unique information of some sort.

That's the thing about a lot of sites. They put them up, update them a few times, and then they are done. Its go to be something that keeps us coming back more than a couple of times. I bookmark sites I know I'll want to go back to without looking up the URL and I only bookmark them if I know I'll forget them as soon as I leave the website.

i bookmark a site when i feel my friends would love it too. take for instance funny pics and funny videos. like this one.

I bookmarked websites that I find interesting. It could be a blog or a news or it gives interesting information. I also bookmarked sites that I frequently visits. I also bookmarked sites that I need for research since in my work I need to do lots of research and also to keep updated to the latest info about new technologies.

Why bookmark some websites? This question is easy to answer - That's all because those sites are useful to us.
For exmple, I bookmark myLot.com because I can start earning with it bying post responses; I bookmark Twitter because I can use it to promote my blogs and products... Yes, if we can gain helpful information, in order to reach them easily, we tend to bookmark them for the next visit.
