Hi all, I am currently in my first year of university. Although I am only in my first year, I am already feeling the heat. There are just so much things to study. To make matter worse, I am aiming for a high grade and so I make sure I read my notes before lectures and do enough revision.
Apart from studying, I do give tuition to students to make some income. I currently have 6 students and they take up a lot of my time. I am also trying to do some freelance work to supplement my earnings.
I really feel that 24 hours a day is definitely not enough. How do you make sure you utilise your 24 hours and not tire yourself out at the end of the day?

Yes, it's because that I know at the end of the road, when I look back, that gives me the strength to carry on.
Hmm, but I don't really understand your last part. Perhaps you could rephrase it?

Yes, we are all tired in studying.
Could you tell me what is BPO?
Try to find time to have some more sleep. Our body will not function well if we don't have adequate sleep. Furthermore, without enough sleep, it will be extra difficult to concentrate in class.

Its actually fun when you study and you get paid . But time is a constraint. People of IT often are suffering from back pain and they will not be able to concentrate on family, work as well as studies. when you start earning we automatically lose interest to study again after a work.

Yes, time is definitely a constrain when it comes to working, studying and purely finding time for enjoyment.
We lose interest in studying as when we work, we get the money. With money, we will be able to purchase things that we want, giving us more freedom in life. However, as students, we need to know the importance of studying. Without a degree in today's society, it is difficult to climb the corporate ladder.

I am going to college online and let me tell you I have to have time managment skills. I for one make a to do list everyday and check mark everything I get done for the day. I add to it and I take from it as well. I am getting a 3.5 GPa right now but I just started a part time job too so I hope I can keep my job up. Nice post and I hope you can balance work, school, and social life.

Hi momtrying2make it, I like your username.
First, I hope that you really did make it.
Education does not end, you are great, although you are a mom, you still apply for online college. Keep up the good work!
I also try to make a to do list, but it seems that I can never keep with it. I think my problem is that I procrastinate to much. I really need to change it. It seems that you have so much more things to do but you do accomplish it. I really have to learn from you!
A GPA of 3.5 is quite high and I hope that you will be able to increase it! Thanks for your wishes and I wish you good luck too!

I said in one of the discussions here that I dont want to go back to school anymore but then I remembered that I need to go back to school cause I need to continue my major and have masters degree to get a better job in the future. It will be my first time to work and study at the same time.

Most of us don't want to go to school because of examinations. We don't mind studying for knowledge, but when it comes to examination, it is a different thing altogether.
Indeed, we don't like to study, but all of us do know how important that piece of paper can be. Without it, it is much more difficult to climb up the corporate ladder.
I wish you good luck in working and studying at the same time.

Hi dearm_ozn, try yourself! Working when we was a student will be useful for you when you have become a staff at any company in the future.

I know exactly how you feel my friend. There are times when I just want to keep sleeping in my bed but I know that I have to get up and do what I have to do. It's hard to work and go to school at the same time and I can't wait until I graduate because then the only thing I'll have to worry about it going to work. Not only do I work at a regular job and go to school but I am also working on my writing. I finish writing a book and now I'm writing another one and in between my job and school the small amount of time that I have I use to search for agents. Then I have other responsibilities; like my dog and helping out my mother with things around the house. So yeah I know what you mean. I wish that there were more than 24 hours in a day but alas it is not possible. I wish you all the luck with school and work. ^_^

I always like lazing around in my bed and not getting up. However, I know that's nto the right thing to do.
Although I want to graduate soon as well, but then again, I don't really want. When I graduate, it means that I have to worry about earning even more money and i have to go work every day.
Wow, you are doing writing. I am currently trying to do some freelance writing, but I am still at my early stage. I really admire you, that you are able to write a book. Yes, other than our commitments, we still have to help out around our house etc.
Me too, although we are both busy people, it really encourages me that you are experiencing the same thing and I will work my way up!

many people feel that 24 hours a day are never enough to do what they want to earn and to enjoy as well. studying itself takes up a lot of time from our daily lives. then, working is necessary to earn our living and save some for the future. i assume that you are still young. then, you still have this kind of energy and strength of youthfulness. to supplement this energy, you may eat fruits and take some vitamins. do away with smoking and drinking. stay focus on what you want. best wishes to you.

Yes 24 hours a day is definitely not enough. Not only do we need to earn, we also need to make time for leisure.
Yes, thank you for your reminder. I am 20 this year. You are right, since I am young, I should have the kind of energy and strength of youthfulness.
Thank you for your wishes and I will quit smoking soon!

For a very energetic and busy person as you, 24 hours is definitely not sufficient to accomplish your tasks. Studying alone is really a difficult task especially like aiming a good grade. Working is another burden. Well, doing both at the same time is really tiring. But for someone who has something want to achieve, determination and dedication are the key words. 24 hours is really not enough but perseverance always pays of, and I do believe in that. Good luck & happy mylotting.

Yes, indeed, studying along is a difficult. I am aiming for a high grade thus, time is really not enough as there is simply so much revision to do.
Thank you for your advice. I have the determination and dedication and I believe that is enough for me to carry on. Perseverance pays off.
Thank you

Yes. My tight schedule have just started. When I had my 5 months of vacation, I feel that I am wasting life and hope that I will have more things to do. Now, school started yet I am complaining that there is not enough time.
But as long as we are enjoying what we are doing, then, no matter how tired we are, we'll have the energy to carry on. Furthermore, everything will be worth it once we see the fruits of our labour.

Yes, working while studying is really very tiring, but with all due respect, what you do is not an ordinary person. You're work and study and shell out money to others just to send them in school. I've never heard like the way you do. I appreciate your hard work and being generous to others. In the near time, I hope and praying that the fruits of your labor will be blessed by God and give to you what you deserve. Again, I really appreciate your personality and mentality. Keep up a good work.

Thank you for your blessings. I hope I will be able to do it as you mention.
I do take pride in giving tuitions to students, and hope that they will do well in their examinations.
Thank you, and best wishes for whatever you are doing too!
