Reading and commenting on other people's articles will help. You can also friend members who write a lot of stuff that you enjoy. That will help you keep track of their articles so you can read them and leave your comments. If you have a blog, you can post the links to your new articles, and also have a sidebar link to your Triond profile page. You can also send the article links to people you know, but be careful not to be a nag about it or start spamming people.

Do you have a website or a blog? If so, you should add the Triond widget that shows your latest articles on your website to them. It does wonders for me!

I make friends more in triond so that I get them to read on my articles. I am committed in reading their new articles too. I do not only view, I find a time to comment also. So they will know that I am reading on their pieces.
I post my articles links in my Facebook wall too. I post it on Friendster. And I post it in Christianster. These are my social networking sites I am in. I forgot my twitter and myspace account, that is why I don't use it anymore. Maybe I'll try to open a new one just to increase my traffic at my triond webpage. =p

I one aspect that will ensure continued traffic is quality content. Quality is always better than quantity. One quality piece can earn you a lot more than 10 poor pieces. Those can actually hurt you. Also originality of your piece improves your page rank on search engines. And as stated already making friends help, as you can post comments on their page.
A great title will also improve page views.
Have a great day!
