Hi! eshaan, In my country, we have 2 seasons only, the rainy and warm season. Rainy days usually starts from the month of May until August sometimes extending till September. Warm season is hottest during March to April. During rainy days hot meals are welcome in the table like chicken arrozcaldo, a porridge with chicken, also hot champorado in the morning also a porridge with chocolate and hot beverages such as coffee, chocolates and tea or milk.During summer a food we call Halo-Halo is popular anywhere you go. This is a kind of drink with bits of sweetened banana, yam, sweetened beans, gelatin, leche flan, corn kernels and crushed ice and milk. Other fruits are added too like jackfruit and preserved coconut. Lots of fruit shakes also are being offered in fast foods and restaurants. This foods usually comes to mind every change of the season.

Hi triplejazzm51, sounds that we have the similar climate approximately in our respectively countries. Yeah, here we have the same dry and wet seasons. But we don't have continuous rain for days. The longer rainy day is about few hours. In the area I live I experience heavy rain, torrential rain or drizzle most of the time. And seldom have severe rainstorm which usually causes great harm to the environment.
The kids and teens here like to take iced kacang (red bean) or black jelly with crashed ice, coconut milk, syrup as topping. Other than well cooked red bean, you could have other ingredients like cubes of black jelly, yam, sweet potato, peanuts, longan, etc added to it. It seems like the halo-halo mentioned above eh... I love fruit juice shake very much. When talking about this ..... I nearly drool ....

Well, no wonder we are both Asians. We have the same halo-halo At present our weather is rainy but when its not raining its too hot. I think its because of the global warming. Anyway, eating is always fun no matter what season it is, isn't it? Have a nice day.

Hi eshaan, I had seen your discussion few hours before. It's really sad that the internet connection interrupted in a sudden when I wanted to drop in. what I need badly is the well internet service but not the food actually. It's really great disappointed the monopoly isp here still couldn't get their extremely awful service impoved So sorry to vent my unsatisfied feeling here early in the morning.
Thanks for sharing the info of changing food according to the different weather in your place. This means that you all take food depending on the changing of weather. I think from the dishes available in the stalls, food outlets, etc would show us what the weather is when seeing the food shown.
Here, the tropical regions having the same scorching weather all the year round. Therefore there is no changing of food according to the weather. Anyway there are still countless varieties of food available here from the different races living here. Though we don't have any food purposely
served in different month. We would bored as well if taking the same foods or recipes all the time. And of course we would take diversified foods day to day to entertain our appetite
Take care and happy posting!

It's true that we still have to face different problems in this modern era with advanced technology. The incomplete system as well as the service in electric net should be improved and upgraded I suppose.
I'm glad to learn that one of your discussion has received thirty responses. You mean the myLot notification doesn't work well and only a few friends who get the email could participate in this discussion I'm not picky and I would like to join in new discussion friends started unless I totally couldn't write anything out of inspiration
Yeah, it's a great fun to have you chatting here on interesting topic frequently lol....It's nice not to use more than the number of smile allowed. I have seen users here just left the maximum number of smile, without a singer word in the response box. We could just imagine if without such restriction, it's awful to see response box full of smile

Hello, Eshaan,
Certainly, what we eat varies, depending on the seasons.
I am from the southern city in China. The food is various.
You mentioned "Spicy and oily", I guess you are from one of the countries: China, or Thailand, or India, right?
The food I eat basiclly is made by frying, stewing, or smoking. But no matter what kind of cooking method, the pepper ( or we should say, chili) plays a great role in the dishes.
In winter, we eat spicy hot-pot, in spring, we eat vegetables with pepper, in summer, we eat picked vegetables and in autumn, we drink spicy soup.
Wow, thinking of such tasty food, I get hungry!
