Did really indian team not giving chance to UTTAPPA

There is nothing wrong with Uthappa. He is playing very good ,he proved it in the IPL. After IPL India send a squad full of youngsters for T20WC,but Uthappa was not there ,he was playing great in IPL. Many other players given chane,but not for Uthappa. I really like him very much. He is a hard hitter of the ball and he have some experience in international cricket also. But the selectors are avoiding him,I think Dhoni also avoiding him. He should be included in playing 11.

Yes I feel Uthappa should be given second chance. Rohit Sharma isnt doing well at all and he is given lot of chances. Karthik also did not fare well. Uthappa can used as a opener or may be 5 down. He is good striker of ball. He will have chance to show his talent in champions league to start in South frica for Royal chalengers banglalore

I think the problem for Uthappa is that he was given a long run in the team when he was not in form. At that time he failed time and again to cement his position in the T20 and the ODI teams. But, now that he has got his form starting with the IPL 3, he is not getting the chance at the international level. In fact, I was very surprised that he was not picked for the T20 World Cup. Yes, Indian selectors should give a chance to Uttappa. In the recent IPL season, he played some great innings. He is the perfect example for the match winner for chasing the runs in crisis situations. Rohit sharma, dinesh karthik or vijay had given enough chance. They are still lagging in maintaining consistency.

Uttappa was given enough chances after his swashbuckling innings in his opening match against Sri Lanka, if I remember correctly, but he did not live up to the reputation of his opening innings and subsequently dropped. He continued, however to play in 20 20 matches for India as his game was best suited for that version of the game. Of recent he has undergone a shoulder surgery and he is recuperating from it so no question of his inclusion for Sri Lanka tour.
