I came across these cute packed lunch for Japanese kids and I thought, wow, their moms might have really exerted effort to prepare such works of arts before their little ones go to school. It' really inspiring and a real feast for the eyes...

this is something that I have never heard about before, so thanks for showiung me this picture, I love learning about foods and food customs from around the world.
These lookmreally,really cute and I am so impressed that the mothers would spend so much time and effort in making a healthy and attractive lunch for their children.
I am now going to research this more, thanks for sharing!!

I have been having a good search about kyaraben and they are completely fascinastic, I can't imagine the work that must go into them!!
I have a put a picture of a couprl more designs they do all seem tobe very much rice/sushi based. Although I saw one that was made completely out of fruit and made to look like sushi.
