During the last day of the weekend, parents usually ask their kids to sleep early especially those who are in their elementary years. As their parents usually says, kids must sleep early in order for them to be prepare on the first day of their classes.
Aside from that, some professionals also observed this, they tend to go to bed early so they are well prepared on the following day which is the first day of their work.
However, to some, mostly to professionals, this is not effective. According to them, it does not have any difference at all, if they go to bed early or not. Nevertheless, whether they will sleep early or not, still, they must wake-up early in the morning on the next day.
How about you, do you sleep early on the last day of the weekend? Does it make any difference if you sleep early or not?

My parents would always force me to sleep early during Sundays because I have to attend classes at 7:30 in the morning the next day. Even though I still wanted to watch TV, my parents would really force me to go to bed. But now that I'm in college already and that I don't have any morning classes, I need not to sleep early on the last day of the weekend anymore. Of course if you sleep early, it would be healthier for you to do so.

Just like you, I remember those days, when I was still a student. That my parents, especially my mom, she was forcing me to sleep early to be prepared on the first day of my class.

I try to go to sleep early, but most of i sleep late, because my wife and me have to prepare the kids for the school, do things in the house, sometimes prepare something in school, but the latest we go to sleep is like 1 in the morning.

I prefer 10-11. Any later and I feel like I'm wasting the day. Any earlier and I feel like I'm waking up with the sun. This Sunday, for the first time in ages, I didn't wake until 1.
Even on a backpacking trip I usually wake up between 8:30 and 9. I don't think those "sunrise alarm clocks" would work for me.

The last day of my weekend seems to be treated no differently than the first one. I don't adjust my bed time when the weekend winds down. i pretty much go to bed and fall asleep around the same times each night.

I always go to sleep early on a sunday---since it will be a busy week ahead, i pamper myself with a good sleep before starting the week.
But maybe when you're old already, you'd feel its making no help at all. Because even when you sleep early, the next day you wake up and start walk you would oftentimes feel tired of the weekd and lazy :). Or maybe because its a weekend hangover. You would get the hang of it by the mid of the week.

Yeah my mother would always tell me that I had to be in bed by eight when I was younger but now that I'm 21 it's harder for me to go to sleep early even if it is on the weekend. First of all there are times that I have papers to write and I don't want to leave them for the next day. And even if I do go to bed at like nine it takes me a really long time to go to sleep unless I'm extremely wiped out then it takes me like ten or fifteen minutes. But it is hard to go to sleep. There are times when I am working on something and all I can think of is going to bed but I know that I have to finish whatever it is that I am working on.
