At What time did you gain more true friends?

I made most of my friends when i was a teenager. During this time, I knew alot of different kind of people from different walks of life. As you mentioned, some of these friends passed by and did not last but others really had an impact on my life and are still my very good friends. I think that the more open you are to differences, the more good friends you will find yourself with.

i got my true friends from a college choir. We hang out every now and then and hit lots of tourist destinations.

When I was in college that I can still communicate with some of them. I mean they were only 2 that I really considered a true friend. I actually stayed away from other friends who just gave me stress that is really hard to deal since that is their true personality. I mean I don't have any idea on how come I am so prone of the people that can't be trusted but I think I must face them as my challenge.

i did gain my best friends in my school days..!!i am very lucky that still i am in contact with them via phone and internet.i did gain true friends in my school life but even now i have so many friends in my official life and people around me..!!

For me High School is when I made the friends I still have today. You start getting to really choose groups and clubs and other activities where you share more of the same interests. There's a lot of competition in the work force, college isn't for everyone, and because of that a lot of the people I know stick with their high school friends as well.
