Favorite American movie monster?

What is your favorite movie monster from American movies? This discludes great monsters like Godzilla (who is probably my favorite movie monster of all time) but includes so many more options. So from the old Universal monsters through the slasher villains of the 80's to today, who is your favorite movie monster and why? Mine is probably a close toss up from Boris Karlof's Frankenstein in the old Universal films, the original King Kong, and Predator. How about you?

Freddy cruger. I grew up having night tars witch makes it so odd that i pick him. but i think it was thanks to him i figured a lot of them out. lol

me too, I always freaked out and when I was 5 my sister had me watch someother scary movie that I dont remember but I cried all throught it

my worst was the killer clowns from outer space. i was like 7 and it was my first hora film. needles to say i'm now clown phobic. it took me forever to eat cotton candy again to. on top of not being able to use a specific blanket because it felt like cotton candy.

I'm not a huge fan of monster movies. I am more a fan of paranormal scary movies. Picking a monster as a favorite is hard for me. The clown in It was pretty scary! One of the coolest monsters I have seen is the one from Cloverfield. I am not a huge fan of the movie but the monster was pretty cool.

Predator was always awesome, but my top favorite is the Cloverfield monster.
