I think these days there is far more homework to be done than ever before. There are a lot of things to do but there are still the same amount of hours in the day. Children these days, I had a much lighter workload in a higher form of eduucation, than many grade schoolers do these days. I'm sure it always seems different. There si a lot more stress.
I think when I got to High School, the homework did pick up a lot. Until my Senior year, but mostly it was light classes and study halls because of all of my heavy classes being done. Still there can be a lot of homework these days. Perhaps a little too much. I think I got out just before it really started to be increased. Of course, that's just something we have to deal with, but the workload increases and the time that we have to complete it does not.

I know! We're not geniuses, I mean cmon. Teachers doesn't realize that we're so stressed out coz there's so much activities going on at school. All they have to do is check our papers!

I agree, but doing our homework makes us good students. It might seem like too much and like you don't have time for anything else, but once it's over and done with then it feels a whole lot better and you'll realize it wasn't too much after all. You just need to swallow your complaints and do the work.

yeah it is true. and spending time on each one of them maybe an hour is not enough! It takes effort and time and the best of your ability to answer all you homeworks for the day.

Well it's not like they all come together and discuss which teacher is giving homework that day, especially not after high school. They gotta keep their students on their toes because most of them are asleep during class anyways.

I know! When I was a school teacher, it was one of the rules that teachers should not give homework to students when its Friday. I did that and it was helpful for some students but it was not very good either cause our students in that school are very irresponsible cause they were being spoon fed by us.

That's ok! At least you will learn more even outside of the classroom. That's what homeworks are for anyway. No offense, but maybe you just don't like the homework because you'd rather be doing something else.
Think about this. You're a student. It's your JOB to learn. Some jobs require you to take home the work to finish it at home. That's the same with being a student. Sometimes your job requires you to do your work at home. Believe me, when you graduate and are already in the real world where you have to get (and keep) a real job (or risk being jobless and penniless), you'll say "how I wish I could go back to being a student...when my problems were mainly the simple school work...life was so easy back then." Take it from one who's said it thousands of times. Haha!

It's true that teachers do give a lot of homeworks but we can't deny that these homeworks will help us become better students. A teacher that gives homework readings or exercises is better than a teacher that doesn't care about the student's welfare.

don't give up. Just do whatever your teacher gives to you as long as its part of your studies. you know what, i'm sure that you can use whatever you will learn from your teacher.
Good day
