Addiction to cell phone is getting my attention. I observed a lot of people, particularly the youth, are using their cell phones most of the time even in situations like meetings, school classes, during office hours and other inappropriate settings. I believe cell phone nowadays is not just an accessory but a necessity already because it keeps distance relationships in touch and very helpful in cases of emergency. I just wish it should be used properly by using it in a way that it will not affect negatively family interactions and not hamper the doings of more important things in life.

though sometimes it is necessary to have my cellphone at hand, I don't feel that I'm addicted to cellphone. Since I have no watch, the main usage of my cellphone usually is a clock!

That is true holdingfast, most people with cellphones specially young ones are addicted to cell phones that they use it all the time text messaging and calling even if they don't have to. One example is the classmates of my daughter. They are in the last year in high school and all of them have cellphones. I really find it annoying when my daughter's phone rings every second at night.Only to find out that its a GM or nonsense jokes. Good thing, my daughter uses her cell phone only when necessary because we have agreed that i will not give her money for her load instead she have to buy load from her allowance.
