Do you use movie quotes in real life?

I do! I like using movie quotes when a situation calls for it. It makes people laugh and all that - especially Mean Girls quotes! ("Boo you wh--re!" "You go Glenn Coco!") Sometimes though, if the line is too obscure, it becomes awkward. I remember the time when I quoted Donnie Darko lines to a friend. She didn't get it and it was a whole lot of silence. ("Chut up!" or "Go back to China, b--ch!") What about you? Do you use lines from movies in real life? If you do, what lines do you use?

You know that I do this!!!!!!!! I like quoting action movies and donnie darko and se7en. "WHAT'S IN THE BOOOOOOOOOOXXXXXXXXX???!" Awesome stuff...

I think this is why we get along. You gave me the idea for this discussion actually. Everyone loves that what's in the box quote. It's really sad when people don't get it. :/

I must admit that I do use it and it is because I remember it at the same time where is becomes useful and I do not miss an opportunity to use it so I also like it when I am proud to be able to use it in a well formed sentence which gives more weight to the issue.

See, l'm really geeky. l use movie quotes around the clock XD l'm pretty sure l've had discussions entirely made out of movie quotes. it's a lot of fun.

Aww, that is so cool! I wish I could have entire discussions on movie quotes alone... but I don't know anyone "geeky" enough. :)
