Spending time with friends / myLot

This weekend my friend and her husband visited me from Friday to Sunday. They live in another part of the country and we can't meet that often. We picked them up at the station Friday night and walked around in the city for a while. There was a "cultural night" that day and there were lots of different activities. Some of the museums were open late at night and everything was free. My friends and I looked at the exhibitions, and afterwards we walked around in the streets were there were music, actors, decorations etc. Saturday we caught the ferry to a small island called Lyoe. We explored the island together and it was a beautiful and peaceful place. Afterwards we had coffee at a café and then we returned to our home. We had a great time together. When you spend time with your friends what kinds of things do you like to do? Do you prefer to stay in your home or their home or do you prefer to go the mall, a café or something different?

Well we do both I suppose it depends really But I do prefer to stay at Home and just relax if I am honest it really depends how I feel Health wise, my favorite thing is though to go to the big Market we have here on a Saturday when the Weather is nice

I understand what you mean. When I was ill two years ago I spent most of time at home. I like to go out, but I wasn't always able to do it because of my illness. The marked sounds interesting, I like to visit places like that.

Spending time with friends ia an opportunity to draw the schedule for our future, it is a chance to share happiness or sadness with each other. The more we share our happiness with our friends, the happier we are. We can see that spending time with friends is quite stirring. It helps us not only live more progressively, have planning more effectively but also share our feelings with everyone. I like to spend my time with friends by going to watch movies, mall & sometime at home with family.

Yes, spending time with friends is a way to share our feelings with others. I always enjoy talking to my friends about the things that are going on in my life and hearing about their experiences and the things that are going on in their lives. It is great to share our happiness with friends, but discuss we also serious topics and problems.

That sounds like you have a very nice time, seeing a friend after a long time, and enjoying interesting sites and places together. Yes, I love doing that too, when old friends get together, going around to cultural places, amusement parks, natural scenic places, theatres. WE do keep in touch as often as we can by phone and emails, but that's nothing compared to meeting in person after some months or even years !

Yes, it was great to be together again. We hadn't seen eachother for 7 months, so were very happy to meet in person again. The rest of the time we keep in touch via phonecalls, text messages and emails. If we lived in the same part of country we would probably meet more often, but because of the distance we can't just meet for a cup of coffee in the afternoon or something like that.

Hi, Porcospino. I know that you had a very wonderful time!

I have not went out with any of my good friends in over 11 years. I really would like to go out and hang out for a change. I have asked my best friend to go to the movies with me. I would like to laugh and hang out with her, like we used to do in high school together. I think that would be so much fun. It is even more fun, when friends are able to go to exotic places and hang out together.

I am so very glad that you have enjoyed yourself. Just reading about your adventure out with your friends, makes me even more enthusiastic about spending time with my friends too.

Yes, it was a lot of fun. I really like exploring new places with my friends. We hadn't been to that island before so it was a new experience for all of us. We visisted the different parts of the island, took pictures etc. I liked the island, it was a beautiful place and some of the houses were very old and charming. I hope that you will also get the chance to spend some time with your friends

Hi, Porcospino! Nice to hear you had a good time with friends. With my friends, I also had a lot of fun. We went to walk, to a trip, etc. But things we did most frequently was chatting while eating, which is a Chinese custom - deepening friendship at table.

Chatting while eating sounds nice. We sometimes do that as well, but most of the time my friends and I and eat and then we go to another room and continue the conversation there. When my parents have company they usually spend many hours at the dinner table. They eat the first course, then they chat for a while, and then they have a the second course. After the second course there is often a long break before the dessert where we just sit at the table and chat.

One of my friends working in other province of the coutry visited me last weekend.We haven't seen each other for nearly one year. In the firsr day we stayed in my domestic talking about what have happend in our life and work and had dinner together.On sunday we went to the summer place,scene there is very beautiful,we rowed on the lake where the water is so clear that you can see the fish and water weeds in it.It is very intresting.

It sounds like you had a very nice time with your friend. It is a great idea to visit a beautiful place together like the lake that you wrote about. I like to do things like that with my friends. Sometimes we also spend time in our homes, but we often choose to do things outside the house and experience new things together. This weekend we had borrowed my mother's car so that we were able to drive around and visit other places in our area.
