Music is the voice of your soul. The music you listen to can tell a lot about you as a person and your true feelings on life and what you love. I dont believe a person can be completely defined by their music, but you can learn a lot about a person. If someone looked through my Itunes they would be able to tell I love Harry Potter, Disney, Hanson and other fantasy/ sci-fi things. Listening to some of my songs, take Hanson for example...they would be able to tell that I like to help others since they tend to try to pass on a message, particularly from "The Walk" album.

There are many different types of music. And, we all enjoy them one way or the other. Music very much reflects the culture of the nationality too. When I travel to countries in different parts of the world, I take the opportunity to listen to the music of the cultures there. They are so beautiful and so enchanting in different ways.

I believe the importance of music is to soothe the mind and allow one to relax. Even if it is metal haha. Music has impacted history by allowing people to express themselves. There are too many types, but the most common are rock, metal, country, R&B, Rap, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Blues, and all of it's sub categories like altern. rock, classic rock etc. Have a great day priyayogi!
