What Do you know about Nigerians/Nigeria?

Two out of every Ten Americans hate the country called Nigeria or the people called Nigerians. The hatred is so much that even though the person who they are looking at as a Nigerian is the nicest person on heart yet they want to crucify that person......
is it the same with you?
What comes to your mind when you hear Nigeria or Nigerians?

I don't know much about Nigerians, but I know that we live in a hateful and evil world. That is how someone can hate somebody who has a great heart. You don't need to get to know them, or even try to get to know them, just have hatred in your heart.
That is how cold and cruel the world is. There is even hatred for little Nigerian babies who have not developed yet. The world is filled with evil and it will always be.

Yes you are right. But some claim its because they have been scammed one way or the other so they have a general hatred for Nigeria as a whole......

You know one funny thing? A lot of Nigerians where affected by what Madoff did. The thing is we all are always looking for a scape goat, someone to blame for our predicament and who do so by picking on people who have the tendency to do it. Its so unfortunate though.

well i dont really know much and what i know is usually negatives like the nigeria email scams, and the highest inflation rate in the world. removing white owners from the land and such.
but i know that what i see on tv is not always the whole status of a country.
