When do you think it is time for parents to allow their children to make their own decisions? Do you think it's wise for parents to still make decisions for the child/children when their child/children are in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s? What would you say to those individuals who still allow their parents to do so? When do you think it is time for a child/children to state their independence?

I can agree with what you're saying. But what advice would you give to those individuals who still allows their parents to make decisions for them, whether they're 20s, 30s, 40s or 50s?

I think for me is 18 years old is consider an adult. It is between 18 years old and 20 years old and above... It is better to teach them at the early age of how to be independent in their own decisions because they would learn the basic life of being an "adult" in that kind of age. Not like what I see in other people, they are still dependent with their parents at the age of 20's, 30's and 40's... ha ha ha!!! That is why some are being called "mama's boy", "papa's boy", "mama's girl" and "papa's girl" who really can't have their own decision. They are dependent on their parent's decision... he he he.
