I installed it the day it came out and had trouble with constant popups, which I had never had before. Finally, I uninstalled it, but if they ever get the bugs out of it I would be happy to re-install it. I think it is a good program and no doubt MYLOT is good for it. I have been with them long enough to know they can be trusted.
I think most new programs need some working out...

I installed it myself too. I usually use Firefox but I also have an IE. The popups from the cash gopher only opens on my IE (idk why). It didn't really slowed down my PC or internet connection, but when I am using IE the popup from a search engine keeps appearing.

I have not downloaded it myself, and I have seen quite a few discussions about how it slows down your computer. Again, I am not speaking from experience, just what I have heard. However it is my understanding that it is made by Mylot so I would think it was legitimate.

I fully trust Mylot and the stuff they make. I just installed it and I haven't noticed a thing. So I am pretty sure that is legit and as long as you're computer is clean, de-fragmented and happy it shouldn't take anything away from it. I've done computing sharing before, and it runs in the back ground, allowing other systems to borrow from yours to boost their own power. During peak times (whenever the customers were doing a lot of work,) I did notice a bit of decline in performance of my own machine, but I was getting paid for me letting them use my system so I figured it was worth it.
The only reason I stopped doing that was because I moved out of the area (it was a company in Arizona), I really wish I hadn't because I was making quite a bit of extra money due to the fact my system was idle most of the day and that is what they wanted.
I hope this helped.
