Currently I am learning Chinese language. Its fun learning at the begining hope it will be the same in future. Most of them says Chinese language is the hardest language so I am bit afraid. There are two subtypes in chinese language they are Cantonese and Mandorian. I learned Mnadorian cuz most of the people uses this language. My teacher told me that the easiest language to learn in Korea then after Japanese and hardest Chinese. The hardest part comes when I have to write the letters of chinese. Its like the letters are dancing.haha! have you ever learned Chinese before. If yes how do you find it?

I am so impressed, because it looks hard to learn to me. I guess it depends on what language you speak to begin with. I hope you continue to enjoy it a lot. It sounds like fun.

I know how to speak Fookien and understand very little Mandarin since I have 75% Chinese blood running through my veins. We use Fookien a lot at home as required by my parents so I can converse using simple daily phrases. I know a little Mandarin because it was a requirement in school. I have difficulty writing a composition in Chinese but I can copy the Chinese characters with ease even with a Chinese writing brush.
Since you are learning the language, try to use it as often as you can so that your tongue will get used to it. Good luck!

I have also heard that it is by far the most difficult language in the world to learn, so good for you that you are trying! I think it would be very interesting to try to learn it and it will probably be very good for your career as well.

can't compare though. but i think german is one of the most if not the most difficult languages to learn. i have learned arabic and it is also difficult. but it differs when one uses the new language everyday. speak it and later on you develop the skills of thinking with the same language, then you are in the track of speeding up your learning to speak that language.

I myself am native chinese, but ic ouldn't speak or write until high school, but then my parents send em too chinese class(native speaker!!!), and i had to learn 400 letters in 2 months. Believe me, it was horrible, as soon as i started learning new ones, i forgot the old ones, so that's why i think chinese is a very hard alnguage to learn

My family is from China, my father from Canton and my mother from Hong Kong, i speak Cantonese, and sometimes is very difficult to understand my mother talking, but i don't know how to write it and read it, maybe is because they don't teach me when i was little, right now is difficult to learn it, but nothing is impossible, like everything you need to practice to learn it very good.
I want to learn mandorin, both languages are very different in pronunciation.

This topic certainly attracts many Chinese to give a response, I'm a Chinese too, speaking in Cantonese. Mandarin is the official language of China and Taiwan, it is spoken by most Chinese emigrants too. While in HK and one of the largest province in China, namely Canton, people speaks in Cantonese. It is easier to learn Mandarin than Cantonese for English speaking people. To me, the hardest language to learn is Korean and Japanese, and I experience the same thing with you when I write Japanese alphabets, it's just like dragon dances.
Enjoy your language learning. I'm sure you'll manage it someday.

I havent think of studying Chinese language. I have always read about the difficult side of learning Chinese. They say learning the alphabet is very difficult and even you learn to write when pronouncing it the same words if accented a little bit different can mean different things. But if you are motivated in learning any language you choose they are not difficulties at all.

Good day to you Prateek149,
It is really hard to learn other languages. However, if you are really determine to learn, for sure, you will get used to it. Just have the patience and perseverance to study hard. Have the courage and most of all, pray for it.
In order to attain success in this field of learning you must combine hardwork and perseverance with a prayer. Hence, prayer is the best answer to all our needs.
