Oh my God, I just can't restrain myself in front of all the good tasty meal. Today, my friend invited me to his house for Barbecue, and certainly there were boozes and a lot of good stuff. His wife is a good cook, and he certainly a great chef on a grill. We had hamburgers, Chicken wings, sausage, and all other great stuff on the table. I had lost 3 pounds on the last 2 weeks, and today I might have to gain more than I lost again. I just couldn't restrain myself in front of all these good stuff, anyway, it is a holiday weekend, and we don't hang out that much. So, I gave myself an excuse to eat all I want. So, on the next two months, I have to exercise more hours than before.

It's hard isn't it?! I'm pretty good about keeping myself away from temptation, but you should allow yourself a little bit in moderation - because if you deprive yourself, you'll probably end up splurging and eating too much anyway, which defeats the purpose. You could also try to make a healthier version of those foods you enjoy - like BAKED instead of FRIED chicken (just an example). Hope this helps. I know how scary it is with the holiday season approaching..

Goodness gracious! I can't seem to control myself over the past month. Used to have better control of the situation but I had been having incredible stress lately. I guess that made me an emotional eater. I can barely fit into my clothes and have difficulty breathing. I promised myself to start dieting to day but my mom, all of a sudden, cooked stingray in coconut milk. There goes my diet out the window. Oh well! Will try to eat less tonight.

Yum yum! I would not restrain myself for good food. It is because when I do that, I have the tendency to crave for it and eventually eating much more than what's expected. Its a good thing for me that I easily lose weight. For me, it is much enjoyable to lose weight when I'm really fat because you can really see the changes in your body. ;)

I have a hard time controlling myself in social situations like these too. I try to eat a large apple before I go so that I am not that hungry. It's much easier to resist all of that food if you are somewhat full. Also, try to drink a lot of water. It also makes you feel full.

It's very hard to control myself in front of good food. I also felt like eating it. Not so curious, I ate a delicious dish, but not excessive. I'll eat just to eliminate my curiosity.

No, I find it really hard to control myself when I smell the greatness of the delicious foods made by other people. Good thing I am not a really good chef or I would explode with weight gain. lol. Sometimes I would have to get myself away from the food that I can smell and would be tempted to eat a lot of. So I guess the key is to learn some self control.

This would have to depend on how delicious the aroma of the food was. The better it smells to the senses, the less control i would have to turn away from any food. There is nothing more irresistible than delicious food that is placed before you.

Haha... i never restrain myself from tasty meal. Anyway, if you have regular exercise and does not overeat that often, i think it is ok to eat whatever you want once in a while. Maybe taking heavy meals everyday is not healthy but taking occasionally should be ok. Do enjoy yourself and treat yourself well

Wow sounds delicious! I am now craving for sausage!huhu I really can't! I think I will eat plenty especially when I am very hungry. I trained my stomach to eat only food on one plate but if it is really delicious, then the training will be gone.haha It would be heaven if I eat that much!

I think that is the hardest time to stick to your diet. Your friends are around, it smells good, you want to be social. I try to eat just a little. That way I am not rude to the hosts and it takes away some of that craving without giving all the way in. Good luck in losing the weight!

Hi, If I were you, I definitely won't be able to resist myself over those delicious food. I always trying hard to lose weight, but still unsuccessful. Everytime when I saw delicious food, I can't resist to have a bite and sometimes, I can't even control my appetite.I was having too much. I guess my determination to lose weight is not firm enough. I should have the diet plan, then only I can see the best result.

I'm guilty of gorging on delicious food, too. I try to eat in moderation, but every once in a while I let go and enjoy myself. I usually make up for it on the treadmill or elliptical machine. What's done is done, at least you enjoyed yourself!
