Labor Day!

So what is everyone doing for Labor Day tomorrow? I'm not really doing anything special. I'm just going to work on my second book as well as start an outline for this other idea for a book that I have. After tomorrow I won't have as much time as I used to have because my first class starts on Wednesday so I better take advantage. My mother is probably going to cook some yummy food but that's about it. Does any one have any special plans for tomorrow?

Hi, ayumitakashi. Well today is officially Labor Day! Happy Holiday to you! I don't have anything special planned for today. I am just going to be at home with my family. I am going to just cook and relax as much as possible on this special day. My kids have to go back to school tomorrow, so I won't be doing too much today. Enjoy your Labor Day and any yummy foods that your mom will cook.

And it's almost over and school is already starting. My brother and sister are staring on wednesday and so am I and I am kind of nervous. But I'm glad that you got to relax and enjoy such an amazing day like today. I on the other hand had to go shoppping and get a few things that I needed and my mother had to buy some slacks for my brother for school. It sure was a busy day.

hi aymitakashi I dont think they plan anything special here for labor day as a lot of residents will probably go to their kin for the d ay b ut my kin as no home for me to go to so am stuck here. so will probably do stuff on the net and play around and finish reading the best book called the Art of Racing in the Rain. The narrator is the family dog but its so well written and has humor and sadness and well you would just have to read it for yourself and you will see how great this book is. the setting is in the Seattle area. the owner of the dog is a prize winning formula one racer and the dog is fascinated at racing and has rode with his owner in the racing car. its really a great book and has a lot of lessons in it for a persont to take heed of too.

I just looked on Barnes and Nobles and it seems like a really good book and one that I would enjoy. It has gotten good reviews as well so I'm going to have to get a hold of a copy and read it. Enjoy the book!

My hubbbie is in a parade. I'll be driving him to the start line. Then I'll come home, find a foldable chair and walk to my end of the parade. Walking is sooooo much better than driving once the parade gets underway. Then we'll cross the street to the fire station and have a barbecue dinner. Probably potatoes, chicken, some kind of veggie and an apple for desert or a cookie. I'll have milk and hubbie will have coffee.

Wow! Sounds like you have everything planned out. It sounds like a lot of fun to go to a parade. I've never been to one but it's cool that your husband is in a parade and that you are there to support him. The food sounds really good as well. It's really late right now but I feel like cooking myself some chicken with potatoes right about now.

I hope you get to go to a parade some day. They're fun. Every parade is different so even if you go to the same parade each year, some things change. We didn't have any bands this year. Mostly because of the recession. Sad, but true. We did have boy scouts, girl scouts, floats, people marching, antique cars, fire trucks, politicians-everything else we normally have. The floats and fire trucks change. Different towns bring different fire trucks and some towns can come while others can't.

hi ayumitakashi as labor is today here in the U S no its duller than dishwater nothing at all planned even the f ood was dull and tasteless as well. I really should have gone some place but instead stayed here and myloted instead. slept for awhile this morn after breakfast as my night was messed up b ecause of my senile roommate and her ten excursions downstairs after something I do not know what. All I know is she kept waking me up. lol. The sooner I can get out of here the better. boring boring.

LOL. I'm sorry that your night was messed up. I on the other hand had errands to run today with my mother and we go back kind of early but then I still had more things to do. But I wish I could have just stayed home and done nothing all day because now I am officialy tired.

Sounds like you have a busy day. That's actually what I did today with my mother and brother. I had to go buy a few things from Macys and my mother had to buy my brother some black slacks for school which starts this week.
