Does every creature have a purpose in life or a role to play in nature?

Oh so they are still part of the food chain. What got me thinking? I'm just curious or rather ignorant of other people's views like yours. Your explanation makes sense, thanks for answering the question.

Kquiming is actually right about this. Frogs and other animals, such as lizards and spiders, feed on mosquitoes. In turn, the frogs, lizards, and spiders are food for other animals. It is all part of the ecosystem in which live, and these ecosystems vary from place to place, depending on what part of the world you are talking about. As another person mentioned, there is a downside to some of the animals involved in these ecosystems. Mosquitoes can spread diseases such as malaria. Other animals, such as some types of spiders, are poisonous (even deadly) to animals or people, but whether we like it or not (I happen to hate snakes), they are all a necessary part of our world.

You have the same idea from 2 other responders. Not so helpful but that is your opinion.

I think so but I don't know what it is. I know many were upset about the lack of bees so I assume mosquitoes have their place too.

I think it depends on the creature. Most insect are considered pests and I think that mosquitoes belong to such category. Along with them are termites, lice and flies since I do not see any use for them other than spread disease to humans and crops. Many insects however are good and beneficial to our ecosystem. They pollinate flowers so that it can produce seed and fruits. Honeybees produce honey and silkworms produce silk.
